Mysuru is one of the top 5 destination places in India which attracts people all over the world. The majestic Mysuru Palace is the next most visited place after Taj Mahal. Mysuru is also known as city of Palaces because of nearly 100s of palaces within the City. Mysuru is also know for his cleanliness, ranked one of the most clean cities of modern India. It also holds two major tiger reserves Bandipur National Forest and Nagarahole Forest. Mysuru is also the capital of our culture, heritage, and our Kannada language. Also, the world famous Mysore Dasara attracts millions of people around the world. For mysureans, Mysuru is like a heaven on earth kind of place. Thanks to our beloved Wodeyar dynasty who built this city and uplifted the culture for centuries. Other famous Mysuru things like - world famous Mysuru Silk Saree, Mysuru Paak, Mysuru Masala Dosa, Mysuru Coffee, Mysuru Sandal Soap, Mysuru Cotton, Mysuru Lamps, Mysuru Sugar cane, Mysuru Papers, Mysuru Jasmine etc and the list goes on like KRS Dam, Mysuru Zoo, Chamundi Hills etc. It also the learning center for Yoga and thousands of people travel every year to Mysuru to learn Yoga. Wow... was nostalgic, remembered my family picnic at Mysuru Zoo 15 years back ☺️😍. Now one more trip to Mysuru Zoo,but now with little son 🤗

My home is 2 KM from Mysore zoo. When it was lockdown you could actually hear elephant trumpet scream. It's amazing how far you can hear that sound even though it doesn't sound much louder when you are near. Also, you can say the animals in the zoo are pretty happy in their habitat. Wild animals only breed when they feel safe and happy in their habitat.

Come to our home when you do visit Mysuru. Mysuru is an amazing place. I grew up here and only after growing up i came to know Not every city Has a palace, a zoo, a beautiful Chamundi hill, A beautiful dam and most awesome a clean environment. It's just Mysuru which is so special.

I have been there for a wedding of my friends baby sister and it was December winter... Having the Morning Smoke and Coffee , then the breakfast of traditional food and Awesome Authentic Food , different types of creative breakfast in the evening and Delicious dinner... But seriously to have a Relaxed Smoke and Tea and Coffee there sitting and looking at the valley...😍😍😍😊😊😊

I went one time in Mysore in September 2009. I visit zoo,lake, vrindavan garden,Mysore palace, fort of tipu sultan, Victoria church,devi temple on Hill. These are sweet memories.

In 2014 i visited this zoo, in mylife i saw african elephant in mysore zoo. Although in my state(odisha) is bigger than this still i love karnataka zoo. Jai hind

lol the last time I went to the zoo was in maybe 2018 or 2017. I am suprised and shocked to see new animals being kept there. Will visit again whenever I get time
