Indonesia very often takes part in international arts competitions (Dance and Choir) and we usually win them. Thank God. Indonesia is very rich in culture. So we will not recognize the culture of other countries and disturb the culture of other countries. We will not have difficulty finding traditional Indonesian dances or songs that we will perform during arts performances at school or at any event. Indonesia does have many regions with their respective regional cultures and languages. But we are united by one unified language and our national language, namely BAHASA INDONESIA (INDONESIAN). Everyone from Sabang (the other end of Indonesia) to Merauke (the other end of Indonesia) speaks Indonesian. All ethnic groups, including Indonesian Chinese, are also fluent in Indonesian.

Your observation in the beginning of video is so true, we don't need to go far to experience quite different cultures in Indonesia. In my case, I live in Depok, a small city in West Java with Sundanese culture, but everyday I commute to Jakarta with its distinct Betawi's culture. Two very different cultures (different local language, different music, different dance, difference cuisine) just 20 km (12.5 miles) apart.
