When I lived in Oregon we had 4 huge rosemary bushes growing in our yard and we could not get rid of them when we tried one time, but then I started using it in a lot of foods we eat. We had plenty of rosemary all the time. We gave it to our neighbors too. I never watered the rosemary or anything except occasionally I would trim it when I worked in the yard. It grew all year round even in the middle of Winter.

Hi there, If you are one that grows indoor plants, i would recommend to opt for organic, vegan and peat-free compost, as well as organic liquid feed that does not contain sea weed due to radiation in the seas, i believe. I had grown green onions outside (bought at grocery store, directly sown root bottoms to soil) and they provided for about 2 years until a windy storm completely destroyed the entire pot. I'm trying again, indoors and they are growing even faster this time. It's been 3 days and they are going crazy. I already had a grow light for some houseplants so green onions are just chilling in the corner of my dining area that is slowly becoming a tiny jungle in the the desert. :) Indoor gardening in very, very rewarding, but word of warning, quarantine new plants before you bring them in with the others. It took me a month to save my plants from fungus gnats. Haha

I do the "single file" method with my indoor herbs. For things like dill & cilantro I do succession planting so I've always got a pot or two ready to use. Basil is a great indoor plant that keeps producing over & over. When the plants get 5-6 sets of leaves I top off the upper 3 sets & put those into a cup of water to sprout. Those become my next crop of basil plants. Lather, rinse, repeat for endless basil...and pesto, which is easy to make & stores in the freezer indefinitely. 😋

I consider both herbs the "bully" plants - they completely dominate and overtake everything else! My go-to herbs are Flat leaf parsley, sweet basil, thyme, dill, chives and rosemary. This winter I will attempt my first indoor herb garden. Thanks for the suggestions!

This channel is huge and I’ve been following gardening stuff for a while, and I barely discover it on a search on indoor herb gardening? The algorithm sucks!

Thank you. My daughter is anew gardener that doesn't like to ask mom . I shared it with her. If she doesn't want one during winter, I'm sure it'll be helpful in the spring. Wisconsin is a very cold state

Hi there, If you are one that grows indoor plants, i would recommend to opt for organic, vegan and peat-free compost, as well as organic liquid feed that does not contain sea weed due to radiation in the seas, i believe. Please have a look at this video that i believe will be of great help kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kNGclZhqu5unlYE.html Hydroponic growing system wise, i would encourage to have a look at this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jtifiq9-ppu-Z3k.html Please Note: * Food shortage will lead to a civil war in America. * Climate change will lead to Sun-day laws.
