Indore is a famous market for street food, sarafa bazar is a jewelry market which transforms into street food bazaar after 8 or 9 pm in night. 56 dukaan is another area that has lots of vendors who sell street food.

Indore is commercial capital of Madhya pradesh, it is also known as Mini Mumbai, many people call Indore as food capital of Madhya Pradesh.
I did street food journey of Indore over 6 days, this video is Episode 1 which covers street food journey of Indore food for day 1 & day 2.

In indore when you say shikanji, it is meant to be milk which is heated to reduce water content then served cold. Shikanji of indore is not lemon water.

Indore /Ujjain area (and MP as a whole) is a Vegetarian paradise. You wont find much non veg options. Veg options here have so many variations that you wont miss non veg. North east non veg options is nothing compared to veg options variey in Inodore/Ujjain.There is a reason why Indore is called food capital of central India and may be top ranking under 3 all over India . He has shown only 50% of veg cuisine in Indore/Ujjain area.
