14:38 was such a deep moment for me. I know we're talking pregnancy and postpartum but I loved how that word can apply to different situations in life. Give yourself the same grace you give to others.

I think we should also remember that a new mum might want help with other things but not the baby and it's important to not shame her for this too. When I had just had my baby, I wished people will do every other thing but let me hold my child but I was usually laughed at for "spoiling" my child. I was just too anxious to let him away from my sight and people hardly understood when I said it was adding to my tiredness to have him away. So, I guess my point is that when you want to help a new mum, be sure that you're really helping and not assuming.

@oliveonwuli oh how can I like this a thousand times?! I had a similar situation. Everyone thinks they are helping by taking the baby away but it's not one size fits all!!

This comment! I feel you sis. Like I want help with me, but I want to hold my baby 😢 I also didn’t and still dont like having visitors around. Except people I want around me. I had my first baby 8 weeks ago and I must say having a baby comes with a lot of emotions that we don’t even understand .
