From the story I heard the whole song is an homage to Juice, the song as it was when they were working on it was a simple diss, but after Juice died Eminem decided to actually fulfill the hook, and go crazy on the beat, breaking his previous world record with a song featuring Juice, to get his name on the record with him!

A lot of people do not notice the video and the sublims in it either. He pulls the launcher from the kid's school supplies section. He is throwing up lego cities, and that is what Godzilla is known for, destroying cities. He is doing the diddy dance in the background in one clip, and I am sure there are numerous other things that I missed too. This is a great channel, I just subscribed because you have the most detailed reactions that I have seen to EM. You catch more bars than most, you caught way more than I did. Props to you, because in my eyes, you slay the Em reactions far better than most!!!

The thing with Em is that his pen is so crazy and deep that me (A 33 year old Em fan since "My Name Is" I was 10 or 11) and after years of listening to this man I still catch bars from songs I've heard plenty of times to this day. Just caught one today from Stay Wide Awake. I know almost all the words to that track. I just caught "I'm the kind of guy that's mild but I might FLIP and get a little bit wilder" if you flip the M in Mild it turns into Wild. That shit blew my mind today. I'm sure there's so many other bars that need to be discovered.

Been on a Eminem binge since the new Album dropped. You reaction to this was great, hearing the bars get broken down with references applied is awesome. Interesting thing to note This song sets up Death of Slim Shady. When he on hospital bed and says Man Stop, the other him says Look what im planning, and then brings a knife down on his other self....and fades to black. In the chorus Juice WRLD says "At night I turn into a monster when the moon shines like ice road truckers..." its making reference to moonshine and the truckers that run it everywhere at night no matter the weather. Also with Eminem breathing fire @7:20 it not only references to Godzilla but also to "fire water" or high-proof alchohol / whiskey which is what hes been drinking throughout the video.

One thing ive noticed with alot of reactors is that they dont realize the significance of the title Godzilla. Being the king of monsters and em is relating emcees to monsters.
