She is such a chameleon. She adapts to any genre. I like the Broadway Morissette. She really can do it all. The total package. Love the difference between her speaking voice and singing voice. Check out the other songs in this sitting. Defying Gravity from Wicked is Amazing. Home from the Whiz, Memory from Cats, Someone Like You from Les Miserables, and I’d Give My Life for You from Miss Saigon are all great also.

@@mar10rod38 Imho, her broadway songs are some of her VERY best!! I don't understand why more haven't reacted to them either. I love them all but Someone Like You and Defying Gravity are my 2 faves. Ok...so is Home. And Memory is a fave too. Who am I kidding? Those 4 are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL sung by Morissette!!!

I'm was not too familiar with this song and the background story of Waitress, but when I heard it the first time from Morissette, it pierced my soul and made me emotional. I eventually listened to the original singer and a couple of other cover singers of this song, but unfortunately it did not affect me the same way as Morissette’s rendition.

Hey Cliff. First this is a great musical check it out sometime. Forgive me if you did this already but Morissette covering Beyonces "Listen". Maybe her best live on stage cover. Lastly I encourage you to check out Hua Chenyu. I got introduced to him watching KZ on singer 2018. You can find most of his videos with English subs. He is a genius composer. I couldnt even tell you where to begin bit i would start with most reactors start with which is "Nunchucks" then to the deeper stuff. He has a trilogy of songs that deal with mental health and his relationsbip with his fans and it is unlike anything I have ever seen.
