I think it's fair to say that the competition back in AJ and Mario's days was slightly lower than what drivers face now. That's just facts.

@ChuckHickl Yep you are correct there is more competition today more money. But back then and now the wall doesn't care how fast you are going. Back in their day not much money to go around and safety was not as big of a concern. But with time and money and innovation we have speed and safety and they are fast.

Scott McLaughlin, Scott Dixon, Will Power, Alex Palou or Josef Newgarden will win Indy. But if Kyle Larson wins, he deserves it and I would buy him a beer and shout for the whole team of drivers if I could; and their support. Racing is great for, us, Wish We Were There, love to do it people like myself, and I can imagine the adrenaline levels and concentration required, and the driving skill of years of on track. Every driver in the field is blessed to be there. Winners or loses, they are all participating in a revered sport. GOD Bless them and keep them safe. Owen, fighting off covetness, but my passion is flight. Race and drive safe, ha is that an oxymoron. I was a cropduster for a few hours, until my career was ruined in a situation like Brodie Kostecki. Hey, I drink RB. OWEN.

But Brodie Kostecki is coming back. He stood his ground. Nobody knows why, but it wasn't good. Driver turnover was high, so I can imagine. He will succeed and so will I, at 66 waiting for a hip replacement, standing up to a narcissistic neighbour in a caravan park, who has abused 5 people including myself, a disabled senior, but worse an elderly widow and the manager lets it be. I aint. I will fly I have a Drifter Ultralight, but that comes after the hip replacement. Thanks for the racers, I am a Kiwi so Scott and Scott, and SVG and Will Power good luck, (I live in Australia). Owen, if anybody doesnt like my talk, Social Justice and Human Rights come before motor racing. Remember Eddie Rickenbacker. Owen.
