Olise only has 5 assists in 18 premier league games.....i think people are overhyping his creativity a little bit.....he's got 10 goals in those 18 prem games tho which is impressive......but just for comparison, Jarrod Bowen has 16 goals and 6 assists this season.

Let's just hope a big clear out happens. We cannot afford players who aren't mentally switched, need a winning mentality and never give up attitude. Players who put the game and club first. It may sound like "Fifa" but its very realistic that we could easily raise over 100 million in sales on top of our base budget (100 / 125 million) and clear-out the squad in the process. Generating those funds comes from those with essentially no future at the club , so its quite possible imo. Though for me Maguire is a mandatory sell , on those big wages and our last chance to recoup some sort of fee from the massive fee we originally paid for him. CBs - I agree i think Todibo and Lucumi for about 60 / 65 million combined is good business , both are mobile ball playing CBs that fit the bill (Todibo is especially pacy). Branthwaite will cost too much for his stage of development and do have some mobility concerns with him. Fullback i still prioritize Frimpong - that dynamic of a player for that fee i don't pass it up ; i'd move Dalot to LB and let Shaw and Malacia fight it out to back him up. CM - i still prioritize Wieffer - he ticks all the boxes for me , style of play he's somewhere between Palhinha and Rodri , until Pool cement their interest i'd still push for him. And i am not against Rabiot on a free to get us another CM signing. Striker - im equally content with Sesko or Zirkee and for a winger I would go for Olise as well. Thats a 225 million spend - we surely raise at least 100 million if not 125-150 million ; that net-spend very much fits our budget.

What Jacobs is saying about Tuchel refutes what many channels , including this one , kept saying about Tuchel that he can't work within a structure and that he wants all this power. Most of the clubs he was the manager of , TT was simply the head coach and content to be so. Chelsea tried to thrust him into transfer dealings and influence when they tore down the existing structure after the takeover. Tuchel wasn't comfortable in that role. He isn't my dream candidate but he is used to and wants to work in structure and content to simply occupy the head coach role.

This summer Man United needs to focus on developing the talent they already have in the academy. We've already seen good transitions to the first team in the past year. Keep in mind the stated method of transformation is based on incremental change, not sweeping change. This has been stated by the new regime, and there is no reason not to take them at their word. The mantra of "twelve out, six in" is not only unlikely; it is not a sound approach. Man United is in the catch-22 they (the entire structure of management) have created, where we need to buy before we sell -- otherwise we are in the same desperate and untenable bargaining position where we are forced (after selling a position player) to fill gaps and clubs can and will overprice the players we want to recruit to fill that gap. This is all so obvious, but we often "forget" the obvious in the wish to change everything overnight. The floated signal that nearly everyone is up for sale does not mean that nearly everyone will be gone over the summer. It just means (or should mean) that reasonable offers for certain players would be considered. If Man United continue the managerial merry-go-round of the past 10 years, then nothing fundamentally has changed in the past 10 years. The owners have more loyalty to the banks -- to whom they pay interest on the enormous debt -- than they do to the supporters of Man United, so again the fundamentally obvious problem is conveniently forgotten in the fury over recent results.

On Fofana, I'll stick with Amadou Onana who's thriving in the epl. This Fofana gives me that Bakayoko, Soumari and Ndombele vibes who failed miserable in the epl.

Sensible transfers to be sure. But as with all transfers, maybe two or three will hit with the rest being just okay to not any good. With the demise of Rashford and Bruno, we will not have much star power for some time. Even if our young players come good, it might take years for this to happen. We need a good coach (I am ETH out) and patient management and also need to stop worrying about where we will finish next season.

I'd say go for Mbeumo over Olise even though i cheer for Brentford as well as United. He is less injured, and is proven to be consistent in his performances. Olise is English hype. Why would you go for left footed RW when you already have Amad, Anthony, Garnacho. Garnacho can play both wings but between Amad n Anthony only Amad is sellable. You still have Sancho on books. Instead of spending £55m on Olise, I would rather trigger Nico Williams (Bilbao) release clause of £43m. He plays both wings and young at 21. He suits United n will pave way for Trashford exit. Selling McGuire with 1 year left is better than selling Lindelof as he cost more n recovering money will help balance books. Lindelof is younger than McGuire and better footballer. Licha can play DM, you can get Ross Barkley n host of players who are in European leagues. The need is to strengthen defence including DM position n add balance to attack i.e. two footed wingers who can play across forward line and experienced striker who can compliment Hojlund when we play 442 or replace him when we play 433. Don't want to go for TT who plays 4231 or 352 mostly which means end for Licha, Dalot n even Kobbie

Ratcliffe has already mentioned a squad overhaul this summer and this is how I believe it can happen. These prices are derived from TransferMarket with me adding on a few mill here and there to try and make it more realistic. This squad overhaul is also on the premise that we bring a few more academy graduates into the regular first team squad such as Dan Gore and Ethan Wheatley. If we don’t qualify for Europe, I’d expect us to have a smaller squad anyway. In terms of Defence midfield and Attack this is what I’d like to see. For this to happen, I think the important aspects of this are the free transfers such as Adarabioyo and Barkley who boost the defence and midfield immediately without having to spend. We have to get them! Even if we just get Adarabioyo and Todibo, spending 35m for both adds two solid defenders to the squad for next to nothing. If we go for Braithwaite, he will be minimum 60m so we’d lose out there financially when we have more cheaper and efficient options. Additionally, the selling of players such as Rashford are pivotal in keeping this overhaul within a budget. We know Sancho will go so selling those two for around 85m for both would be great business but again, the key is selling players like these to raise the budget. Also, we have to be going for players like Bakayoko for 45m who is in my opinion, a better player than Olise who we’d have to pay 60m for.

Anyone who is advocating for ETH to be given more time mustn't have been watching the last two years. We can't dominate teams, instead it is small clubs that are able to dominate us in general play. ETH has been a dead man walking for at least three months. I reckon Ratcliffe made up his mind that ETH would be part of the required clean out soon after he got hold of the football department. 6 in and 12 out doesn't sound like a good idea when we already have a relatively small squad. Not playing in Europe will help, but we can't afford to shrink the squad by 6 players.
