This is the Grenadier from INEOS permanent 4x4 3L BMW Petrol or Diesel engine and it has some rather impressive capabilities and stats.
When Ben travelled in the prototype in the Yorkshire Dales, he couldn't wait to get behind the wheel, and a little while ago, INEOS invited us to join them at Graythwaite Estate for a Driving Event meaning on road and offroad.
On road and coming across the shore - they're a sight to behold.

Remember the vlog as that convoy came over the Bay at Silverdale one of the best clips of Motoring on the channel 😊 👌 when ya get one on review it should make for a good watch planet auto 🚘 🎉

I don’t like the seat base of the recaro drivers seat, it’s too boy racer, not set up for a work truck. Great truck and a Hugh future.

Interesting, however I don’t see or have experienced the same correlation of this to a boy racer Recaro, unless you’re referring to BMW M, R8, RS6 etc, in which case you mean a sports / racing seat depending on the model? Genuinely wondering how this would affect it as a work horse? 😀 It’ll be interesting to see the general consensus after a few years of ownership. One thing is for sure it’s one amazing workhorse, for those who can afford it and want something well executed with the finer real drivers additions, thank you El Capitan

Why not come & join the Grenadier Owners at their FREE Charity Event at the Elveden Estate, Thetford Norfolk UK on the 5th May 2024 (10:00 till 16:00). With Aftermarket Vendors, Ineos Mechanics to answer questions, Off road professional Instructors & an off road course (all free). Ineos will be there, & their Retail sales partners from around the UK & Europe & hot & cold food & drinks for sale to make this a social event & make new friends & to raise money for the Emergency Services Charities which supports their front line staff in times of crisis

Oh is this an invite to us we presumed it was a call out to Grenadier owners far and wide, in which case we’ll see if we can get one to road trip from the Lakes down, thank you.

I had one ordered when it was first announced - then the prices kept going up - I originally expected something mid £40k - then the cheapest became £49k with the Belstaff editions £59k (+£3k for all deliver/VED which they deliberately excluded from the advertised price…) then is grew to £76k… amazing how many of them are currently for sale on Autotrader - seems like most of the ones registered so far and they can’t seem to shift them even with £15/20k off list. As a vehicle - I love it - as a brand with dubious pricing and questionable staying power - it’s a risky buy. I’d not be at all surprised if it’s withdrawn from sale and INEOS is never heard of again in terms of cars - I’d give it 12 months before Radcliffe realises he’s wasted upwards of £1b

The price has kept escalating, mind you everything has, if it had been closer to the estimated price it would have helped it. However we’ve seen globally it’s going alright for a startup brand it took Tesla 9 years to profit, we’re confident it’ll be about for a fair while.
