7 ай бұрынI've been lucky to get a trial of the INEOS Grenadier and they even let me use it for camping. It's a top choice of vehicle I'd like to aim for if I ever let the Jimny go. It drives so nice and has endless customisation options for the creative thinker who enjoys kitting out off-road campers.
My DIY Kitchen fit easily with a quick modification, bolting into the airline tracks in the car. My friend was going to let me use his iKamper roof tent but we couldn't get a hoist for it. I couldn't risk causing any damage try to muscle it up there. Not too worry though as my Darche 180 rear awning bolted straight on and that gives plenty of shelter for a cosy nights sleep.
Verdict so far... I absolutely love the colour, style, wealth of space and the fact it sits so solid and comfortable on the motorways. You feel like the king of the road. There's no sense in comparing it to the Jimny as they are nowhere near each other in respects of investment. I'm not a car guy and lean towards a positive attitude toward things. While everyone has their views on what car is best and most capable I could see myself building a dream set up with this.

Yeah there’s some nice kit for them already. Enjoyed my time trying it out. Having lots of space and power was a treat in comparison to my jimny 😁

I too would love to have a Grenadier, but it’s way over my budget. It makes me happy to see you got one for a few days. - Me envious? - You bet I am! 😁 Double yolks - old hen. Still think you should invest in cast iron pans and pots. You’ll cook at lower temps and with more flavors.

It’s was a great experience having that car! Above my budget too 😅 I do actually have cast iron pans but tend to only use them on campfires. I’m trying to find a better gas cooking setup as the simmer settings are poor on my current one.

Was a great car. If I had the excess budget and the space it would be a cracking car to properly kit out. I’m sure we’ll see some unreal aftermarket setups online soon.

Plenty of them in Switzerland already, had one for 1 hr to try it out but I will stick to my Defender 110 for the time being since a Grenadier doesn't come cheap nicely equipped

Hi 👋 thanks for watching. My channel perhaps looks better than it is. Had a few early videos that got seen a lot when I first started. If you want to look back on old adventures, like me. Create whatever you want and if they get seen then great! If you want to take it seriously. I’d look at go4x4 or fish13. It’s a proper job at that point but they’re killing it 👍 Look at what thumbnails and titles they’re using. The classic thumbnail is fake rain and lightning. Even inside tents which is a remarkable natural phenomenon 😂 . Fun content, shot and paced well, rain or snow, endless gadgets and new kit seems to be part of their charm. I’m certainly no expert so could be wrong. Good luck mate and hope you have fun.

The ineos is a loan car for the holiday period, not sold the jimny. Same camera, I think I changed some settings on it but not sure which. For the first time I seemed to get the exposure and focus how I wanted it. 😅

Hi Matt, the awning is the darche eclipse 180° rear awning off my jimny. I’d get the longer awning on the grenadier if I owned one. From www.trekoverland.com

So my jimny engine is currently on my garage bench being rebuilt the dashboard is halfway out so i can replace the heater matrix and im still waiting for the stainless exhaust system i ordered a month ago my jimny older than my mates mid life crisis girlfriend but im not giving up 😢

Could be a good mod! There’s connection points in on both sides near the roof bars for lighting but there wasn’t any on the demo car. Easy to set up with no wiring to run!
