The main goal for our property is to go completely off-grid, that way if we cannot afford fuel anymore we will still have heat, a cooking space and domestic hot water. That'll be nice when it's below freezing for 205 days a year here...

Se puede hacer. Pero tené en cuenta que al mover aire caliente a otras habitaciones solo estás distribuyendo distinto el calor que genera la estufa, no estás generando más calor. Es decir, calentando una habitación lejana enfriás la que tiene la estufa, y eso se traduce en necesidad de quemar más leña

Se puede hacer sin problema pero ya estás dependiendo de ventiladores… y cómo dice, tendrás que quemar mas y por último El aire no es el mejor conductor de calor por lo que todo se enfriará en cuanto el fuego o los ventiladores se apaguen.
