My Maternal Grandmother liked Marcus Mosiah Garvey. My Maternal Grandmother also recollected "Marcus Garvey Day." Honestly; I wish I could speak with my Maternal Grandmother. She transitioned in 1990. We enjoyed discussing our history.

It was Commander Marcus Garvey and Haile Selassie who had the original idea for the League Of Nations; which led to President Woodrow Wilson to run with the idea and implemented the League Of Nations; then became the United Nations!

You do know that Elijah Poole a.k.a. Elijah Muhammad was a Garveyite in Detroit,Michigan. He followed the teachings of Marcus Garvey because he was a corporal marshal of the U.N.I.A. The Nation of Islam is patterned after the U.N.I.A. Elijah Muhammad even got calling "The White Man Is The Devil" from Marcus Garvey. Because Marcus Garvey referred to whites as the Devil numerous times. Look it up.
