This is the best advice that I've heard on jealousy. Something that I've been dealing with for years. And it was puzzling. I had a childhood friend. Tell me the reason why childhood friends and friends were jealous of you is because you were yourself. So your statement is a confirmation. And I thank you.

What I noticed is the destructive spirit of Envy because “envy” and “jealousy” synonymous, they actually have distinct meanings. Envy is “the painful feeling of wanting what someone else has, like attributes or possessions.” If you're jealous, you feel “threatened, protective, or fearful of losing one's position or situation to someone else.” Envy is the real killer !

You have been the victim of envy. There is a difference between jealousy and envy. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad said, "An envious person is the worse kind of person because an envious person will kill you." If you have something that they want, it could be money or talent, or some privilege, etc., they will covet that special thing that they desire for themselves that they don't want you to have. An envious person is a devil. Stay away from them if you can or as much as you can. You can be kind to this type of person and they will still hate you, even if they smile in your face. They may sometimes try to hide their true feelings but the envy spills out of them by mistake sometimes. Be aware of them. They will also make enemies for you. People you don't know and people you do know that you've never had any problems with will change and become cold or rough acting towards you because of some lie that the envious person told them. They won't come out and tell you what the reason is for their change in behavior because then they will have to reveal the conversation of lies and slander about you. Again, if you know someone is envious of you stay away from them as much as possible. Don't go anywhere with them if you can help it. If you have to be around them hopefully there are other people around that are good people to help compensate for the evil person. Having other people around is also a good thing because they can be witnesses of mistreatment or witnesses of the truth and not lies the envious person spreads.

@arlenemuhammad9853 Wow, you seem to have some of my own experiences. I receive your message. My own mom, brother and other family members have shown me jealousy and Envy. The rudest awakening for me was the envy from my own brother and it grew after our mom passed away and she asked me to finalize her last wishes for her funeral/Memorial. He seemed to have always been jealous (he admitted that to me), but this envy really makes him look like the devil indeed. Its so disgusting. People don't even realize how you can be envied for being resilient, because nothing keeps me down. Jealousy/Envy is a miserable way to live and I can see it now, where before I used to NOT want to see it. I was encouraged to recognize it. I've always enjoyed my own company, so besides being with my children, I love being by myself. I choose peace all the time, so the idea that Paula was saying we attract envy to us based on our own energy made no sense and I know the universal law of energy she's trying to apply, but I think there are exceptions when it comes to envy/jealousy and/or certain individuals. People's envy/jealousy is all about their own messed up energy 99.9% of the time.

@@ntitus3025 I believe you are right about envy being the exception to what Paula was saying. I agree with what Paula said generally speaking. Usually when you give good you get good back, but not in the case of the envious. That is an exception to the rule. Envy is an internal problem of the envious. It's a problem they have to solve within themselves. Min. Farrakhan said and envious person is a person that really has a problem with God. God is the giver of all gifts. If you don't like the way you look, and you take that anger out on a good looking person, your problem really is not with that person, but the God who created you.

Me too. My mom and sister and niece and nephew are very jealous of me for yearssss. I'm yet to discover what I did to them...all I've been is good to them
