WHERES DR. KWAZI KONADU WHOLE INTERVIEW?
@TheEMC99
@TheEMC99 8 ай бұрын
You were making a great point about parents being separated from their children. The impact of this cannot be overstated. I think Dale needs time to really think about it. Typical, westernized millennials aren't engaged in this type of deep thought. That needs to change if we hope to speak and live in truth. FaceTime isn't a replacement for a parent who is present and deeply invested. Justifying their absence with arguments about school tuition being covered is as unthoughtful as arguments in favor of daycare for the same reason. So mom sends kids to daycare to spend 90% of her pay covering daycare costs. Not only does she spend most of her earnings doing what she herself was meant to do she loses incalculable value in the process as do the children. There will never be a replacement for involved parents. That's God's clear design. Grandparents are intended to be a secondary support system - not a stand in or replacement. This is a serious conversation that needs to happen going forward and consistently. An emergency is an exception. The norm is not an emergency.

I must say I’m really impressed by this young man. I’ve watched numerous clips of Dale, and laugh quite a bit, but he’s so much more than a laughter. Even though he may not have been raised by his “mom” and “dad”, he’s an example of how crucial extended family is when your parents cannot be around.

This is my story! I was outspoken and always was the class clown! I guess Dale, like me, used comedy to cope! My Grandma raised me like a Princess by sending me to an all girls’ high school. I was extremely intelligent and ended up being an English teacher.

Jamaica is not corrupt as people saying. It's the people who trying to beat the system when there is no need to get stuff done by bribing. Getting drivers license is easy but people would tell you they know someone would give one without taking the test. There is no need for that. Just follow the online instructions and get your learners permit and sign up for instructions. There is no need to pay off anyone.

You are creating a western idea that absence of birt parents created a void. The grandparents became the parent. If they were left without a family member that would be different. He had 2 grandparents who became his parents.

Why would a handcart guy pay taxes. He didn't import the cart. He made it himself from scrap wood and metal found on the island. The hand cart guy will just not make any carts. It's better they pay taxes on the business he runs with the cart. If he transport goods he pays a tax on the products.
