He was my professor at CUNY Manhattan. He's an awesome teacher. Great guy! Definitely one of the best professor's I've had in my scholastic career.

Glad to see somebody, my friend, someone who knows what they are talking about, bring forth the original concept that the term for these spirits is hùn and not Vodun. Vodun is the overall system. I have been speaking on this for years. He is also right about Iṣẹṣe vs using the term Ifá. Great work

Good interview however he didn’t mention the role African spirituality plays in Haitian culture. That would’ve tied everything together well being that African and Caribbean were greatly influenced one another, Haiti being a catalyst to several events and etc.

Look up the Obeah Act of 1898 in Jamaica. He is right about the laws against our traditions. Unfortunately, a lot of "our" people were part of enforcing and inciting anti Afrikan actions beging these laws

Standard playbook from early christianity. Succeded in cleansing africa of its indigenous religions. Islam then came and finished the job.

It's better to have an actual Vodoun/Voodoo priest(s) and/or practitioner(s)to speak about Vodoun/Voodoo.
