Great build. Also you may want to add a piece of noodle to the piece of pipe you are laying your top tube onto, keeping the bottom part of the top tube from being scratched.

If you put the pool noodle on the bar and use your clamp's rubber grips, you'll get a solid grip without risk of damaging your frame.

I like the idea, I have always been told to clamp around the seat tube. I find a way to mount a block of wood have a hole drilled in the middle split the block in half and mount it to the clamps.

Wow! I love the way you just got right to the point - too many KZfaq videos are 5 minutes of content "crammed into" a 30 minute video. Well done! Now I just need to figure out a way to mount the base plate to something I can clamp into my WorkMate - shouldn't be hard!

Thank you!!! This is exactly what I was looking for. Only one difference in my application is I have a big table vice at the end of my workbench that I will come up and out from it with plenty of “real estate” 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
