A lot of brand start like that then as they get a good reputation and popular they start to hike the prices. I think the same is starting to creep into the The Ordinary brand....lately they are releasing 20-30+$ serums and other products.

I picked up hyrams retinol discounted in home bargains here in the uk. Every retinol I tried before this made my skin peel and itch. His one has such a low beginner friendly dose and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to start low. I noticed the difference in my skin in a week 😊

Life flo, Asutra, Advanced clinicals are apparently vegan and cruelty free so maybe try those down the line. Speaking of which dr dray has tried the advanced clinicals retinol body cream and did like it.

For cheap product i would say retinol from Cerave will make the retinol from The Inkey list and The ordinary wish, that they shouldn't exist 😆 that retinol is light weight, much effective (even they don't reveal how much retinol in that product) and same price (not sure the price in USA, but in Germany it's about 18 Euro and with coupon it's just 13 Euro).

CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol is amazing!! The Kiehl’s Micro Dose Retinol is also amazing 👌😃😃 and I love the Shani Darden Retinol Reform as well, although that one is the most expensive. I just ordered the Honest Beauty one, which is another affordable one, can’t wait to try it out. Btw my skin is dry and sensitive

Most derms would tell you that if your retinol is too harsh for your eyes, apply your moisturizer or even a very thin layer of petroleum jelly first, then your regular retinol of choice on top.

That can actually happen with any retinol. Not just PC. 😊 I personally have used it for years and never had any problems with it 😀. But some people can’t use retinol. My friend burned her whole face. It’s just wasn’t for her. She tried different ones.

@@justblushapril3799 Granactive Retinoids from TO is not Retinol. It’s Retinol Ester with no data behind it. Neither is the Paula’s Choice one. Inkey’s List Retinol was also a Retinol Ester. It’s a freakin crime that they call it “Retinol”. Why would I even try these products out when BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGISTS are telling me not to use these? The only good TO Retinol us the 1% Retinol in Squalene.
