Believe it or not, this elevator has been running like this for years. The motor is terrible and it sounds like it has a massive flat spot. This elevator is quite infamous in the SoCal elevator community for how terrible it runs. I thought it would be fixed by now, but it isn’t. Even the freight runs far better. I don’t think this elevator has ever been verified to be a Monty, but the escalators here are and it makes sense for The Broadway.
