Hello there! Project Incursus here!
Today We're playing around with Birdies Mod! It has a laser than does infinite damage. And yes, it does 1 shot adamantium.

Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

You... you realize the rocket artillery doesn't have a power setting, right? You can tell if something has a power setting because it'll show it.. it'll have a line and an indicator and everything...

Some mods dont show it, really it depends on the mod. However, birdie's mod doesnt have a power setting i think.

@@losfrail6142 anything affected by power will be shown in me mod except for shotguns since vanilla already doesnt do that.

@@losfrail6142 this mod does have it because the old mortars showed a percent. But when it becomes rockets it no longer has that.

your artillery adjustments are always so incremental - you gotta apply the military standard and do bigger adjustments at once - they tend to inform the proper placement more efficiently.

@@marshal1x Lasers per definition emits light. Light = photons. There are other things, like masers or particle beams. But they are not lasers. Semantics 😉

Thanks for the reupload saw the new video in my side bar clicked and it was gone when I clicked it. Watching you play has really helped me get better at forts. I would watch Barvongames and Blitz play forts and think they were good then I watched one of your videos. You're soo much better at the game. Hooked me honestly. The 30mm Upgrade kind of gives me Nebelwerfer vibes. (Nebelwerfer is a german Rocket launcher, kinda like a katyusha)

5:35 you can tell that they’re new to the game, blocked turbines, randomly sized and shaped boxes, already strained supports, almost no defense, placing both starting techs, etc

For future reference. Any weapon where power has an effect will show up like how mortars do. If there's not then power wont do anything. (Not the HE shotguns since vanilla already doesnt do that). Nice videos these do help a lot in making adjustments and whatnot.

In my opinion, the photon laser is a good secondary weapon, like the plasma beam in the firebeam-plasma beam combo. First you hit them with the firebeam to soften them up and then hit them with the plasma beam to finish them off. For the photon laser combo anything that can deal a good damage is good. My idea is to hit them with the nuke/cannon volley and then use the laser to blow away everything there that they love and hold dear. I hope to see a bfc/photon compression laser combo someday

I know this is an old vid but i think the 30mm artillery is potentialy better than the rockets because they fire multiple times are cheaper and cant be shot out of the sky
