+Aliazahra Omar Sharif Cuz he had an "image" to uphold. Which consisted of him being "cold", "chic" and "mysterious". Laughing all dorky doesn't fit into his "image". So they told him to tone it down. Plus, Myungsoo is actually pretty quiet/shy around people he's not comfortable with or familiar with. So he just naturally stays quiet when he's on TV or out in public. Which keeps his "image". That's why he seems like a totally different person when he's with the members or friends. He talks really loud, he laughs freely, he says stupid things. But only b/c he's comfortable being himself around them. More recently (maybe, the past 2 years or so), Woollim stopped having a hold over his image and actually encouraged him to start being himself in front of camera and public. This was mainly because people loved seeing the "Myungsoo" side of him and not just the "L" side. So he's still pretty shy/quiet during interviews or around new people, but he smiles a lot more now, he laughs out loud, he talks loudly and just acts the way he does with the members (most of the time). He's still not as crazy as he is with the members/friends when he's outside though. That's why, you'll sometimes still see fans saying things like "Myungsoo came out!", "L went on vacation and left Myungsoo behind" "L is back, where is Myungsoo?" etc. L is his quiet, chic, mysterious side and Myungsoo is the dorky and loud side of him. I hope that explained a little bit about Myungsoo. ^.^
