Showcasing an incredibly obscure and complicated infinite attack loop in Inscryption that I missed last time.

There’s one in act two that’s VERY easy. In the fight against Grimora, after phase one, she “kills” all of your cards on the field and gives them back as “zombies.” If you have an Oroboros out, you’ll get a zombified Oroboros. You can place the card for no cost, destroy it with the hammer and repeat to boost your actual Oroboros.

I figured this out on accident, but didn’t use this to buff my Ouroboros because it already had over 100 power (it took me like 20 minutes 🥲)

I remember doing learning about that on accident, I wasn't even trying to buff Ouroboros. It's so wierd that copies of Ouroboros dying buffs him.

In case you're wondering how you could make this in a real run: get 3 molemen, give each of them 1 of the necessary sigils, then fuse them at the Mycologist enncounter. The odds of getting all the right encounters before a run ends is probably very low.

Almost impossible I’d guess. You’d need like 4 molemen, all the right sigils, and then enough mycologists to merge them all. And a single campfire to give it 1 attack

I don't think that's possible to be honest. it's 5 sidgil to get. I don't think one transfer sigil can cut it. You would probably need to combine card and therefore the attack would be higher than one.

I did it once with a flying ant. Took alot of copies, sacrifices & mycologists (and luck, duh) and in the end had an unstoppable card. It was pretty funny just watching Starvation try to kill me.

You could also use a flying mirror tentacle, making it so that you don’t need a specific item for this to work

And how exactly is that gonna work? Elaborate, please, because I don't think it is possible - it will never do just 1 point of damage.

@@babasemkato bypass the need for a hook or wise clock at the end. Because you instead copy the attack of the starvation card, while also attacking over it.

That'd end the fight way before the starvations started getting to interesting statlines

@@patathatapon I know how the mirror tentacle works, that's s exactly why I don't think this is gonna work. Because the fight will end the moment all starvation cards will be with more than 1 attack. If you mean to use the tentacle as the final blow, well, that won't serve the purpose of the video

@@babasemka it only works to replace the item, which is what OP said. You’d still need a card with the 5 sigils, meaning you’d need mycologists to slap all those sigils on one card. Is this loop practical? Good lord no. OP was just trying to say the item could be skipped. Not that the insanely buffed card could be.

The PO3 fight in the pixel world has an easy infinite loop too. If you juice an Oroboros a bit so PO3 makes 4 copies of the card, make sure its in the far right lane, and have one rotated over to you, youll have two Oroboros that kill the other two. The ones you kill on PO3's field return to your hand instead of his, and every time you sacrifice ANY of them, ALL of their attacks go up. Combine with a sacrifice engine as simple as an unbuffed black cat so you don't run out of blood resources, and you can mill into an absurd amount of attack power very quickly.

I gotta say, seeing the scale fill up with teeth until it actually overflowed over the invisible wall has got to be my favorite part of this combo, can’t find that interaction any other way in the game as far as I’m aware

That's insane... Albeit almost impossible to create since the combination of Sigils are unlikely to occur. You might be able to get close using Death Cards.

This is also able to be done (albeit much more slowly) with a skink that has unkillable and mighty leap and a bullfrog that has airborne and unkillable. While stalling, you can spawn three tail cards by letting the skink get hit and then fill your board with tails, sacrificing one to play the bullfrog, and then putting the tail back down. This can be done much more consistently as the reptile totem can be used to give both cards unkillable, so the strat only requires one copy of each card during the run as long as you get the totem.

you could porbably ditch the need for a hook by having the tentacle card that increses damage based on number of times the bell is rung, no? probably worth giving it the flying sigil as well

Exxo on Act II against Grimora, if you have ouroboros on the board by the time you beat stage one of her, she will kill it and you will get your original ouroboros back and also a free dead one, but the thing is when the 'alive' ouroboros dies it buffs the dead one, and you can infinitely place the dead one because it is free and just kill it using the hammer.

With an infinite supply of bleach paint you could also use the hodag to get an infinite amount of damage here.

Or maybe not because the pliers would force a win, though it would be theoretically possible to get no pliers with an extremely high amount of luck involved.

Potentially much more realistic to do this: Have 3-4 undying, mighty leap bunnies (by mycoing an undying warren and a mighty leap warren) and then 1 undying bird of your choice. Keep placing the bunnies down every turn to block the hits and summon your bird as necessary to keep the scales balanced. Getting a warren with those two sigils would be a lot easier than getting a moleman with those three sigils. Though the combo itself would be a lot more tedious to pull off

I feel like if all you had was that moleman in your deck (besides squirrels) you'd just, win eventually. I don't think anything can even beat that card. The Miner Can't destroy it and replace it with Gold because Unkillable and Corpse Eater take priority, I suppose the Angler could Hook it but you could just chuck a squirrel at it. I'm not sure what scenario Leshy could actually do to beat that card.

starvation does attack you, the sigils on the moleman meant that it was resummoned when killed and jumped in front of the starvation

In other news you can do a similar thing in Act 3 if you craft a card with the following: Mighty Leap Sharp Quills Unkillable Touch Of Death Less than 6 cost (you gotta play some random 1 ATK card later on lol)

2:13 mmmmm i'd say this is easily balanced by saying that when you hit Starvation you're supposed to simply lose. That's clearly the damn point of the thing. By this point Leshy's not cheating, just saying "WHY THE FUCK WON'T YOU GOD DAMN DIE" and trying to further speed up the process.
