The rebalance where cash gen was nerfed also nerfed the attack speed and range. It all became additive, not multiplicative now. Damage and pierce is still additive too, but the range an especially attack speed is what made previous versions do insane damage.

Imo the biggest nerf is abilities costing 6.5k now. Before the nerf you just got two weapons and saved 2k for monkeynomics or elite sniper, got some more weapons and then saved for the 75k upgrade

how tf would an additive attack speed boost work with the current wording of the upgrades? like after 10 x0.9 buffs you would be at infinite attack speed unless you're supposed to add the inverse of the boost to the inverse of the current attack speed, which would be very silly

@@bolexle That's multiplicative, hence their confusion on additive attack speed. If it was additive, then it would be -10% 10 times, thus 0 attack speed. In your example, a tower that attacks 1/s now attacks 2.868/s, but additive would make it 2.111/s as it should only be attacking +11.1% per upgrade (for +111% overall), not x1.111 per upgrade. I assume by being additive, it means that the attacks/s are the thing that you upgrade, rather than the attack speed delay.

From what I have noticed, Dartling Gunner Upgrades tend to break it. I am unable to confirm it but based off past videos and this one it appears to be Dartling Gunner

Can 100% confirm that it's dartling gunner. Not only does it break in this mod, but ultimate crosspathing has had it broken for a long while too. Crosspathing multiple dartlings used to break it entirely, but it wasn't really fixable so buying them just adds the dartling gun on top instead of combining. Breaks buffs and i'd imagine it's breaking the multipliers and making them either not apply or only apply to the dartling. Faster Barrel spin early on might've done it or the ray od doom

I've noticed that glaive lord makes the weapon upgrades not work at all, haven't seen that issue when using dartling upgrades though. Edit: I tested it again, getting many dartling upgrades (mad, 2 rods and plenty of the lower tiers) and upgrading worked perfectly fine as long as I skipped glaive lord and glaive dominus

I have tested some weapons and so far paragon weapons, glaive lord, and dartling weapons (will have to test this again) have broken the weapon upgrades. Yes, a triple shot weapon will theoretically become better than a godly rarity weapon.

I also got the mod and I played along with ISAB by facing elite bloonarius. First upgrade on weapon and I immediately rolled a Banana Central projectile.

Pretty sure the upgrade is bugged after a while. With every upgrade that has range boost, the range isn't increasing.

my only want for this mod is a way to see the total bonuses it has at a time. like if a button could be clicked and say "damage +231, pierce +168, range x2.21, attack speed x0.21, money x2"

As far as I am aware from my own testings, the moment you unlock the 75k upgrade, range, damage, and money multiplier upgrades stop working entirely. Pierce might too. Attackspeed might be the only one that works (?).

Proud of ISAB that he said that he wants the scaling to go quadratic, if you count pierce it's even cubic (but of course vs bosses singletarget is the most important). I left a comment about that a while back and this makes me think that he might have read it.

Funnily enough attackspeed multipliers would be exponential if they applied to all the previous ones, but another comment says they're additive now so attackspeed*damage is quadratic.

I haven't watched this video, but since the first video came out of this series, I was waiting for this one. I think dartling gunner, or any of its upgrades bug the mod, every time I saw someone seamlessly losing power is when they get dartling

Ancient Monkey mod is updated and seemingly works with retry Last rounds now, however if you load a save it resets the monkey. You should try updating it, it has some new Luck Upgrades

I feel like theres a chance that, when you get a stronger weapon attack boost, it might like, overwrite Boss Damage? Instead of some paragons having like 50 damage + 50 boss damage its now just 62 damage after a 12 damage boost

One thing, it does say that the upgrade says ‘Make your current weapon stronger’ and not ‘Make your current weapon*s* stronger’ so maybe it only buffs the weapon you just bought?
