Make sure to see live performances because Ateez is known for live vocals and master level performances. They were the first kpop boy group to perform at Coachella for a reason. They also have a storyline since debut so you won't understand the mv if you're new to Ateez. The simplified version is that Ateez is from our universe ( Universe A) and their alter egos Halateez ( from Universe Z) are asking them for help because in their universe, the government has banned emotions and art. Ateez are time and dimension traveling pirates and agree to help Halateez free the people who are being brainwashed. The government knows about their plan and sends an android to stop them. The sandclock or cromer as the Ateez lore calls it, is how they travel. It's all really cool and complex. They are having a comeback at the end of the month and we're excited to get more clues to their lore.

Crazy Form is the last episode in a chapter where Halateez has disappeared and Ateez has crossed into dimension Z in a dystopian future and become stranded when their hour glass breaks. They set up a resistance movement to try to take down the corrupt government (which is run by the bad guys with no faces again) and restore autonomy to the populace, while trying to find another method of returning to their own time and dimension that does not include the broken hourglass.

I found Ateez because of Jongho, his live vocals are amazing, some serious power vocals. The music videos are fantastic but live is even better.

There is a complex lore that goes along with Ateez MVs, which is won't get too deep into but you are right that this is one of a series of videos. The " Black Pirates" are actually Ateez themselves, the leaders of a rebellion against a tyrannical government ( within the context of the storyline). I'm going to guess that you like rock based on your outro music? If so I reccomend their MV Guerrilla. I also reccomend Halazia because I just really really love that song

You pronounced ATEEZ correctly! ATEEZ are an 8 member boy group from Korea (the 8th member is the one with the pistol--he was recovering from an injury so he wasn't in the dance scenes) . ATEEZ and BTS are the only kpop boy groups to get into the UKs top 3. This album also hit #1 on Billboard's 200, and ATEEZ recently performed at Coachella as well.

They have some of the absolute best music production in K-pop. None of them are doing what Ateez does as smoothly as they do it. I'm more of a alt rock fan, but Ateez came onto my radar about two years ago and they make straight up ear candy that I'm addicted to now.
