This stoned stairs is a real great part of the architecture of the property giving it much value and higher esthetic level that enjoyable to see and I emagine to use. It's some special existence of an architectural piece that opens it's value in contact with it.

pleasant enough ... there is a huge difference in your commentary when you are in a house with original tiles, door knobs etc ... ie Italy! and something that has been done in this way ... whilst you give a good commentary your passion and love for the building and "everything Italian" is missing.

Absolutely beautiful house, garden and visitor cottage, perfectly restored to make it comfortable and easy to live in and run but still with the classic Italian farmhouse feeling and detail, the best I have ever seen you show.. But you don't sound enthusiatic! Unlike when showing awful, ugly, delapidated near ruins Perhaps you think that this property will sell itself, and the others need a lot of "pushing". Thank you for this tour, if I had the money I would buy it like a shot!.

Love the house. I mean... who wouldn't? Also loved the repurposed lockers, although I think I'd have some built in cupboards - at least in the main bedroom. One thing I have noticed watching your videos is how many of these expensive bathroom renovations don't have a vanity mirror above the sink. Maybe it's a "girl" thing, but I keep wondering where the women store and do their makeup. Not a criticism by any means... just an observation from a female perspective.

Geez, Mr. Nick--this house is the best one you've ever shown by far (IMHO). Love the fact that there is a ceiling fan in the living room. And the sunroom alone is worth the price of the whole house. Quick question--with the house being so remote, how long does it take for the local fire department to get there in case of an emergency??nBack in the States, we would call those metal storage units 'gym lockers'. They are utilitarian but not sure I'd keep them in the house--perhaps repurpose them for the pool shed. Actually a bit surprised that the showers are not tiled and seem to be Corian or something similar. I do love the shape of the sinks, though!! I assume all these remote homes are on proprietary wells and not 'city main'? Is it expensive to have a well re-dug if it ever ran dry? That guest house conservatory could easily work for a quilting studio; though with the stunning view, I'm not sure how much sewing I'd get done. I'd be staring outside all day long... good glory Mr. Nick; I can't believe this house hasn't been snapped up already. Absolutely THE BEST one you have shown thus far. Just as soon as I win the Powerball, I'm there with pen in hand for the mortgage papers. I don't suppose I could get by on my charm and personality though, eh???

Nick, are most of the properties in Umbria vacation houses? It seems every property you tour are houses that people only use during summer months. Is that a common thing for people to not live full time in the countryside there? Great property, not for me though. I like more traditional details.

With most of these properties I rarely see the option to get a car near the home...shopping, suitcases etc. must be a cultural thing. 🚙

This place has been 'renovated' to the point of no return. If it had any charm previously, it has certainly be eradicated. Too bad because it's a beautiful location.

I realize this is an older video. But I've been catching up. Many I've watched several times lol. I just wanted to say that I think it's great people go to the effort to do a renovation. However, it's a shame they make all the bedrooms & bathrooms identical. They have no character or identity 😕. Even if you wanted to buy the property to use as a business. Such as holiday rentals, air bnb or retreats, the decor is very mundane and lacking. The buyer would have to incur additional expenses to re redo much of it. People like unique, different and memorable. This isn't much different than the Holiday Inn Franchise lol.

I feel this was not one of your favourite properties and a bit rushed

Property lacking the warmth and many original features that other homes you’ve shown have. Despite the beautiful setting and the rustic feel , there are way too many modern touches, poor choices in the lighting system. I don’t think any of the architectural details are original either, they all look reclaimed.

Nice homes, beautiful countryside, not a McDonalds or a WAWA in sight. You barely see power lines, almost like things have not changed in these areas for a thousand years, as many of the buildings are actually that old. Places are tastefully decorated, and pretty much all look basically the same. I must say the color scheme seems to be limited to brown, off white and terra cotta with a little verdigris mixed in occasionally. Where are the bright vivid colors of Italia, the tiles, the pottery, the fabrics, the green, the red, the white? Not much personality or zing in these homes, everything seems so restrained and sedate. How about an Oriental rug, a throw pillow, an accent wall? Perhaps people are told by realtors to depersonalize the viewings so prospective buyers can imagine how they might decorate it themselves? A blank slate, just show the bones, nothing homey or personal? Where is La Dolce Vita?

A €1.2 million euro house with grade school lockers for closets? 😆 😂
