I like that Infinity's world has character not just lore. I don't need 10k years of war to justify Hamlet in a Gothic space ship, I like these internal motivations and goals beyond conquest.

I still think the creators have a poor grasp on what Sufi thought actually is but nothing is perfect.

Ignorant of Islam for the most part myself but glad to see a good vibe within here. Would hate to think we could never use one of mankind’s defining beliefs. Such a rich and storied history.

Former Eldar player here that is most enamored with Haqqislam. I do wish Infinity had more lore to dive into, bit I love the very practical approach to world and and faction building CB has been able to take. Hope you continue with more infinity lore vids!

I don't want to or mean to sound harsh, but. Warhammer 40k had very little lore when it started, the fans began building lore then gw made it part of the system. We can try to do that here as well.

Damn, i never knew there was a muslim faction in a tabletop game. That looks really cool. By the way Haq in Islam means "Truth". Although in my language (Malay), that word is often used to mean "Right", e.g 'Right of property"

This faction surprised me, and a very pleasant surprise it is A completely positive portrayal of Islam, no negative stereotypes, and are just as cool as the other factions

You got the nail on the head to why I picked Haqqislam as my starter and fav faction. Humanism and progress, a golden age and something of a faith based society that's always advancing, really what i'm into!

This series is amazing. Probably the most pleasant lore series for Infinity available! I just started getting into Infinity this year with CodeOne and decided to invest in Haqqislam. So stoked for N4 in a few months. Are you going to do any videos regarding N4 and the updates? Maybe an O-12 lore/faction video now that we're getting more info on them?

Hey thank you for the kind words, Reagan! I'll be getting back to this series in like, 3 months. I'll be moving and expanding soon and don't want to overwhelm myself. But rest assured, Infinity is awesome and so is its community :)

Great videos, man. I love how you are tackling all the Infinity background, giving more and more information. I find the videos really great for newcomers and a wave of interest for new player. Keep it up, man. Also, I'm a Qapu Khalqi player, since I love the Turkish piracy background and the fact that all of those mercs and units call for an extremely differentiated army on the table, so it really took my mind. I became in love with Haqqislam after reading their lore, and you do justice to that. Once more, keep it up and I will be waiting for your take on Aleph and the sectorials.

Hell yeah!! Keep up the good work Doug! I love their lore myself and was planning to start a Ramah Taskforce or Hassassin Bahram force since both their model ranges are just so awesome-- or mix and match with Vanilla Haqq.

Yes Alelph would be good. It would be cool if you did a video on the 'current' state of infinity lore - i know you did the future history vid but I think the lore has progressed since the game was founded? ty

Looks like faction wise you only have Yu Jing, Aleph, and Tohaa left for lore videos. It also would be an idea to cover the current events going on with the story as it moves forward.

This guy seems to have little to no historic background on the golden age of Islam. I had already written him off as you average Ameridumb when he didn't even mention it as the most obvious inspiration in the intro video.
