this is a great start for infinix! i just hope they'd start focusing more on the software side. one of my top priorities when buying a smartphone is that it has to have long software support. 2 years of os updates and 3 years of security patches should be the minimum.

Hopefully Infinix stay affordable this coming years.

⚠️Disclaimer: TMI⚠️ I hope people understand the implications of this device having a larger Pixel and Wattage. Please note that there's a catch for those two. First, the larger pixels do give more details but ONLY when ZOOMING. What it also does is SLOW THE PROCESSOR especially when rendering and make the pictures LARGER and take up MORE STORAGE. Speaking of cameras, other tech reviewers have pointed out na instead of the 3rd or 4th sensors, watch out for the MAIN and 2nd cameras. Madalas kasi ang ginagamit na trick ng mga company para mag mukhang mamahalin yung device is magdag-dag ng maraming camera pero their either redundant or outright useless. Take it for example yung depth sensors (distance), monochrome lenses (contrast), at macro (wide angle) na nandito din sa unit nato. An ULTRAWIDE w/ AUTOFOCUS and a dedicated STABILIZER can do the work of all those three so having them is basically just having a mechanism to jack-up the price. Second, that 180W charging, its fast but its highly CONDITIONAL kasi nga as mentioned it HEATS UP the phone na hindi mo sya pwedeng gamitin as you would normally do with a 30-65W charger kasi mas bibilis yung PAKASIRA ng BATTERY at in turn, bibilis din yung EXPIRATION o pag-baba ng performance nung DEVICE. So, those 2 selling points may seem PRETTY ENTICING pero if you think about it, they seemed less than assets and more like long-term LIABILITIES. Personally, I prefer PERFORMANCE (e.g. benchmarks) and user-friendliness (i.e. OS interface) kasi these things will determine kung gano ka smooth yung day-to-day experience mo sa phone. Kahit na 16MP lang yung main cam basta kayang dalhin ng ISP at CPU, ok na. Kahit nga 18W charging lang din basta pag naka on, consistent na mabilis ang response lalo na sa default apps, di madaling uminit kahit babad ka sa socmed o youtube, at wala masyadong bloatware o mga pre-installed apps at adverts ng company, that's already excellent quality. Unless hilig mo mag palit-palit ng phones kasi you want to feel trendy or want to try and experience the tech, go for it. Pero for someone like me na gusto mag invest, I think this one's a pass.
