@@peterdodsworth Not necessarily. Cosidering that the entire kit is well under 750 if replacing the screen and the shell with a shell that has a built in micro display could remain the same price while turning it to a mountable scope.

Question: On ali there are two options to buy; XH15 and XH15andrange. Do you know what is included with each package? I plan on mounting this to my air rifle, so I would like the mount but I don't really need the rangefinder. Does the cheaper of the packages include the mount?

I would not buy it at this point if its Xinfrared branded becasue that brand name stopped. Only 3rd party companies selling remaining stock of Xinfrared labeled models but future app support is questionable. Wait for the new brand. Once available i will announce it on my Discord channel.

Of course you can. Just like any other model. The smart screen is just an optional accessory.

@make-u-rich879 The isotherm feature highlights a range of temperatures with a color change. This can make it easy to find objects of a known temperature against a background of a different temperature, or to highlight areas of a field which have exceeded a certain temperature.

Amazing set, but smart-screen is a little bit pointless : it has 4GB-usable space only, NO µSD-card-slot 😞 - so you have to connect it to your PC every time you want to transfer the files (instead of just sending them via e.g Telegram). This smart screen does support X2/X3 only, but not T3/search and other models, BUT has only 30fps capture - so only limited use with XH15 ??? I think you need make a set/offer for XH15+Holder+LRF WITHOUT a screen (for me it's better just to use my old Android-Phone with it, as it still has better OLED screen, better connectivity and 60fps capture possibility).

The point of the screen is being super light, app optimized for it 100% and its super light weight. In a full set i can give you a super low price that has the screen included that nobody can match even without the screen. :D

The XH15 from China is about 758€, the full kit from holder over display to camera module. They speak about android but not sure if this display is also a phone or just an android device without 4 / 5 G

Much cheaper that 758€ in my discount program. The screen don't have a SIM slot so it has no 4/5G. Its made to be a simple and polished hassle free experience with the cameras (XH15/XH09)
