Awesome video, paddle boarding looks cool. I did like the underwater water footage though. As a former scuba diver it is always amazing what is under the water. Thank you for sharing this.

Cute vid :D -also useful advice, I'm only Bodyboarding atm, but I have seen the Kayakers & Paddleboarders around me and on KZfaq hiking channels, but it's interesting to hear about the pros & cons in case I get into it later down the line!

I find the sit on top kayaks a good option and easier to get back into . The paddleboard is cool though 👍

They are great but I don't have anywhere for storage, too many bikes and too much camping stuff 😅

Hi Laura feet either side of the middle handle wide stance go from a yoga cat / cow position to a squat . Stand up slightly forward - key tip look ahead not down get the paddle in keep looking ahead then smile. The smile makes it easier

Laura you would love carrying my Sturgeon yak about. She weighs about 38kg unladen! Excellent video again girl. I put a little video up on my channel of my trip from Shrewsbury to Gloucester down the River Severn but it is really aimed at an audience of 1 (me). I'm not very good at the filming lark...lol If you ever want some company on a river trip then just let me know.

Hi Laura, have been watching some of your videos for a while now. Lovely to see Plymouth Sound again in beautiful weather, was at Uni down there a few years back. Have been looking at getting an inflatable SUP and it sounds like you got a bargain! I might have to look into purchasing one myself. What other gear do you recommend? Wetsuit/life-jacket/dry-bag, etc? Do you have any videos covering the sort of gear you'd normally take with you on the water?

Hi the other stuff I have is collected over the years, I have a surf wet suit 3/2 but now they make wetsuit leggings and tops which looks more practical, I would get a PFD with pockets, that's the biggest downfall of mine. The dry bad I use is a swim tow float but again only because it's what I already have. Most important is to have a phone case and attach the leash onto your PFD safety.
