Epsom not being in London is a giant scam. We're called "The London Borough of Epsom and Ewell", yet if you work in Epsom you pay higher rates on train commutes and you don't get the London weighting pay top up. I work in the Sainsburys in Epsom, one of the top three, if not the biggest supermarket in country, easily taking £1-2mill in trading every week, and we get paid less per hour than the handful of people who work in the small Sainsburys Local store literally 10minutes down the road in Ewell Village. F-ing Chris Grayling for a decade in the oughts campaigned on getting Epsom put into the London region for trains. The clown was the transport secretary for a bit for crying out loud, and it never happened. Nothing would make me happier to see that buffoon kicked out this election.
