i am one of a very small number of people in cal. my mortgage rate is very very low. and payments are very very low. but increasing taxes will force me into a default in a couple years. as i am retired. no chance of getting more income. the low paying jobs are gone thanks to a $20.USD min wage.

Inflation is great for businesses, because their business models apply a specific percentage increase to everything. When their cost to do business goes up 4% they don’t just increase prices by 4%. They increase prices by 4% X 1.55% = 6%.

If you want to blame Trump for starting this, keep in mind Democrats controlled Congress and insisted that the government spend Trillions instead of a Billion as the President and Republicans wanted and as a temporary measure. The Dems wouldn't pass a small reasonable Bill. Look it up. Than Candy man Joe with a Majority Congress continued the money blood bath. Dems are the reason Republicans were complaicent.
