We flew our B55 Baron into embedded thunderstorms. Why did we do this? Human factors, IE: The Human Condition. The human condition is a multifaceted concept that encompasses the shared experiences, emotions, and challenges common to all human beings, regardless of culture, race, or background. In-flight breakups. How does one get themselves into this situation. A Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage, N451MA & a Piper PA-32R-301 Saratoga II HP, N9236J suffered in-flight breakups within days of each other. Both aircraft flew into convective activity. We made the decision to fly into convective activity (embedded thunderstorms). This decision could have resulted in an in-flight breakup. Here is the story, perhaps it can make a difference.
When making a decision, we form opinions and choose actions via mental processes which are influenced by biases, reason, emotions, and memories. The simple act of deciding supports the notion that we have free will. We weigh the benefits and costs of our choice, and then we cope with the consequences.
