Doing a sunscreen focused brand trip where everyone ends up with sunburn is HILARIOUS 😂

Not to stick up for Kosas but no matter how good a sunscreen is you have to reapply, especially if you’re sweating or in water. I’m more skeptical that the influencers may not have been as diligent as they should have (because let’s be honest the brand would never tell them constantly to reapply sunscreen).

@@fuzzycutething88 I understand what you're saying but brands dictate so much when it comes to brand trips (clothes to wear, types of posts they put up, where and when to take pics etc) it wouldn't be crazy to simply remind them to reapply sunscreen especially when that's what they were currently promoting! They are supposed to be making the product look good, they made it look like it doesn't work

@@fuzzycutething88Honestly even when I reapply sunscreen I still burn🥲 Last August me and my friends had a lake day and I reapplied sunscreen all over every hour, and still ended up with the most painful burns all over my legs and feet they were so bad it was extremely painful to walk for about a week after & I couldn’t wear shoes😭😭

@@caketropolis then they should also tell the influencers to stay out of the sun for most of the day? Cause even the best sunscreens clearly state that you shouldn't go out at certain hours even though you have sunscreen on. I feel like the brand would get more backlash if they were managing when to be outside...?

@titcunt551 I've got no issues with being happy you have boys, happy you have girls. Whatever it may be. It's the mums that scream being a boy mum from the roof usually have an unhealthy relationship with them. They're the ones who become horrible mothers in law and treat their son's partners horribly. I've got mates who just have son's and never have I heard them brag about it.

We’re not done with gringos at all, até porque “we” é muita gente, mas eu posso dizer que eu estou done com os turistas estadunidenses!

Either those sunscreens suck or the influencers have no idea how to use sunscreen, from the instructions I read these days, generally you're suppose to apply it 20min before going into the sun, and reapply every 2hrs or more often if you're going into the water. The most iconic is that all of them came back sunburnt. I mean, they were there to promote a sunscreen 😂. This is sooo ridiculous. And I am not even talking about the weird fact that already rich people get gifted even more stuff and are sent on a free trip which they could easily afford with their own money. But in the end, it is promotion and probably still cheaper than hiring some relevant celebrity. They got what they want by inviting controversial people. Everyone talkes about it and the brand gets all the exposure it needs. I mean, I have never heard of them before. Now I know this brand, however, after seeing all this severely sunburnt skin I wouldnt even want to purchase a single item from them 😂😂😂😂. Those influencers probably didnt even use any of these products and they went straight into the bin.

The sunburn thing is a bad look, but that's not really on the brand. Sunscreens don't work all day. You're supposed to apply & reapply every two hours and you need often times more than you think you do. Most of us have been outside for a few hours & thought we did a good job with sunscreen only to learn later we missed spots. Had nothing to do with the product, just poor application aka user error. Also my heart breaks for that little girl. That level of favoritism will impact her even if the mom believes she's not being biased - I mean she's already posted publicly to millions of people she prefers her son like that's so horrible. It will show itself in other ways and I just hope her father balances it out with her.

Influencer marketing is SO much cheaper than using celebs, that's the real reason they do this using psudo tiktok celebs who are impressed by a trip to Cabo 😂

That was the same thing with Tarte. At this point, these brands give scandalous influencers special treatment and choose them over other people who aren’t as popular as them.

I would be so interested to know what happens to the $$ numbers after brand trips - dramatic or not. The ROI *has* to be ridiculous, otherwise there would be no brand trips.

It's really weird that they would invite someones kids on a brand trip. Brand trips are pretty well known for a lot of alcohol (maybe drugs too?) not really a place for toddlers. Also if I went on a brand trip excepting it to be all adults and then found out there where little kids I'd be pissed. Do any of the other influencers that went have kids too? I wonder how they felt about one of them bringing there kids for free. I get she's a mum but part of being a mum is knowing what's appropriate for your kids and keeping them out of inappropriate/dangerous situations like oh idk being around a bunch of drunk people while near a pool. Super dangerous.

They didn’t she was being dragged for always being away from her kids so she asked if they could come and had to buy the plane tickets and I’m betting much much more. This was clearly not a family oriented trip

I feel like none of them even used the sunscreen to be honest. Which would be even worse cause you're invite to a trip because of a sunscreen product, and you don't even use it lol. It can go either way

Brand trips being back is already embarrassing but the companies not researching who they invite is worse. They just see how many followers they have & ask them to go on the trips.

I really do not get how a brand spoiling a bunch of bad already rich salespeople is supposed to make me want to buy their products. Why would that make me interested? Maybe use that money to actually do some good in the world. I’d love to support brands that use their excess wealth to support good causes rather than wasting it on this.

All of these brands *KNOW* exactly what they’re doing. I’ve said it before and say it again, forever and ever, this is our fault. If we stopped giving these ‘influencers’ attention, things would be different. But it seems that for every comment stating they won’t buy anymore there are a hundred people buying whatever sh*tty product they sell.

Some science tea is that male fetus changes the moms DNA and after autopsy’s done as late as 70 year old they still found the male DNA in the moms brain. Would encourage everyone to look into the studies and pick your partner carefully but most importantly love your children equally.
