These marks are a boat's propeller. There are far LESS than 1000. The animosity of the seal haters is just beyond control. For them, 5 are too many!!!

Before the rookery, sea lions have hung out and sunned themselves on the rocks just south of the Children's Pool for years & years without any shark sightings. Ghirabaldis swam all around. I used to body surf there in my youth and shared the waves with sea lions that would tickle my toes sometimes. Sea lions used to hang out in the harbor hoping for fish scraps when we had an awesome fishing fleet.

This was predicting YEARS ago…as soon as Childrens Pool was allowed to become Sea Lion Central. Eleanor Scripps is rolling in her grave. Children’s Pool was built for CHILDREN
