I listen to ALMOST everything. Will share on here, for anyone else with wide range of tastes...back in '80's almost same time, out of Philly, you had "The Hooters" who had limited success, BUT there was also band called "Tommy Conwell and the young Rumblers" who did at least one simulcast from the Spectrum(I think) on 93.3 WMMR

I'm old enough to remember when this song was new and sometimes on the radio. I used to have this album on cassette tape. And I listened on my Sony walkman and boom box. This brings back some great memories of my youth in the 80's. Thank you.

I loved this group. I loved that fact that they were white guys doing music that mostly done by inner-city Puerto Rican (freesyle music) I remember all Puerto Ricans used to jam this song in particular. Yes, I'm aware that some consider them new wave, however, here in the Northeast, the dance stations in Philly, New York and the Boss 97 in NJ used to always play them. They were so cool.

Yep grew up in NYC latins was listening to freestyle though this is not freestyle music it was popular in the clubs so we had a radio station hot 103 that played freestyle the 80s was it
