All the placement of each speaker is wrong, and 5.1 sound is not for listening music, it's work with video. You didn't decide the performance of 5.1ch sound without video.

In F&D inbult prologic provides fake output you do not feel any surround sound, but with this decoder you will get real dolby prologic or dts output, this decoder also converts 2 channel stereo audio to surround sound

Brother I have the same one , Its supporting AC3 ,DTS 5.1 to analog 5.1 .But it would be great if its supporting AAC 5.1 audio to Analog 5.1 . Now we gets only 2 channel stereo out or Prologic 5.1 while we plays AAC 5.1 audio formats . Is there any Optical / coaxial audio decoders which converts AAC 5.1 audio format to Pure Analog 5.1 . Does it offer Bluetooth 4.0... in 5.1 channel? No I think if we use 4 Alexa with one Yamaha sub with Bluetooth.. it will works great. Only we need to buy Bluetooth transmitter

I have a have 5.1 proper surround system. You only enjoy surround sound in movies when the movie sound is actually 5.1 and you hear different sound effects from different surround speakers. Basically surround speakers are for sound effects. Otherwise sound coming from all 5 speakers for a medium size room is just not pleasent.
