We received this bouncer from our baby registry and wanted to do a review to show you how it works. The Ingenuity SmartBounce Automatic Bouncer gives baby 30 minutes of automatic bouncing that mimics mom's arms. Our baby girl loves it. It can be found at Wal-mart, Target, Amazon, Babies R' Us, among other stores. The price is around $50 but does depend which store you buy it from.

Does anyone have any insight on how long the batteries last when using this ? We bought Duracell because in my experience anything that moves like this or our ingenuity swing that takes batteries is worth buying a higher quality battery for because you will just blow through batteries if they are the no name brand ones. Just curious so I know when I should be expecting to buy more, I did buy a 6 pack of batteries so I would have enough on hand to change them out when they die but wondering if I should get more and have more on hand if it goes through them super quickly. 😊

We had same problem, we were trying to put it on backwards, the toys should be on side away from baby.

Steven I had the same problem I was trying to face the toys towards the baby because to me logically that’s how it would go and I was getting so frustrated until I turned it around and it snapped in no problem, it was like an omg I feel so stupid moment 😂

It's not too difficult if you aren't trying to take apart and put back together regularly. At each of the joints is an easy tab pull out system that allows you to remove the different parts.

What if my boy was able to hold his head o the first day after birth (he is extraordinary strong boy) . Is it still good for him? Or will it affect him in some negative way? Is it safe for him?

There are straps, but I wouldn't suggest this bouncer as the bouncing function is incredibly weak.

You can unclip it. There's 1 tab on each side. (I know your comment is 1 yr old but it may help others)

Have one of these and its so weak she doesnt even feel the motion. If i manually bounce it harder she falls right to sleep, but the automatic bounce on the 2nd setting is super weak and she barely notices enough to soothe her. would not recommend this product (we got it as a gift thank goodness)

@@TheConboy22 No, we ended up just manually bouncing her in it. I wrote to the company and they sent me a check for $70 saying the product was discontinued... gee wonder why lol

@@PerkulatorTime It's pretty awful. I really wish I could find an auto bouncer that wasn't loud like this. My daughter loves her manual bouncer, but my arm does not.

Can confirm that the bouncing motion is very weak. Would not recommend product.
