One of the greatest actors of all time. No matter what role he's play, or how good the material is, he will give it his all.

The least the MPAcademy could do is give MaxVonSydow an honorary lifetime Oscar. NOW.

Beautifully done. And the closing scene timely, for today. RIP.

I liked that Peter Cowie highlighted Max Von Sydow's marvelous performance in Winter Light -- it's a wonderfully inward, controlled, subtle piece of acting from the man with the most unsubtle of physiques. A true living legend and one of the few singular faces of the screen - who could mistake him for anybody else? Que Viva Max!

Even as a young man, he looked old...
@lonestar67095 жыл бұрын
He aged well though. When he was 20, he looked 40, but when he was 50, he still looked 40. It's why he's still working today. He has an ageless demeanor about him. One of my favourite actors. 'Shame' being my top performance from him.
@flanplan59033 жыл бұрын
@@lonestar6709 I wouldn’t say that at 20 he looked 40 per se; he looked like he was more mid thirties than anything.
