I got the domed sponges. It took a bit to get use to the feel of laying down ink but once they were inked up, I really enjoyed them!

I was never happy using the flat blending tools. I didn't feel as though I had much control over where the ink was going, especially if I was doing edges, so I have just ordered some of the dome top blending tools. Can't wait for them to arrive! Love your videos, you always explain things in a way that is easy to understand - thank you!

Love your videos, very educational and I love listenting to your voice. :) Also, a lot of people reviewing the domed blender to the Ranger blender keep saying that the Ranger blender is larger than the handle but they don't know why... Tim Holtz explained that it was intentional so that you don't get the edge of base hung up on your work/paper or get harsh(er) lines from that edge. :) You won't have the same issue with the domed blender so that's why it's sized the same as the handle (with no overlap).

So done with blending sponges. Often the pad pulls away from the attached velco base, rendering the pad useless. I changed to brushes, one for each color family with separate ones for very light colors. These can be found on Amazon or even at your local dollar store! I get better blends almost effortlessly now. I think the brushes are for makeup and have found a two pack for just a couple bucks on Amazon

I have an older video too reviewing make up and blending brushes. I use them as well, but I find that they aren't the best for every occasion. So I do still love the control of my foam ink blending tools. Just depends on the situations - if I need control - then it's the foam tools. I haven't had a problem yet with the scrapbook.com domed tools coming apart - but it's only been a year. I'm so thrilled you love the blending brushes - I like the yoseng ones the best - think I have over 50 at this point after reviewing several brands....lol. I'm really looking forward to getting some of these domed applicators. Have you brainstormed how to store them yet? My current "they fit perfectly under the ink pad" answer looks unlikely for these. I'm thinking either small zip-lock bags on a book ring, a flat box, or coin collector page protectors (if they fit). Thanks for the video, & have a lovely weekend. :o)

Yeah, stacking too much leads to a craftalanche. Been there! The site that sells the domed ones sells thin plastic boxes for them, but I'm not sold on that yet. Surely some crafter will solve it. :o)
