I was there at the Riviera in Chicago last night. Inhaler are very talented. Put on a fantastic show. Everyone in the place stood the whole time, from the front row on the floor to the top of the balcony. Dancing, cheering, singing. Great fun.

Sorcery. That’s what this is. I used to enjoy music that reminds me a great deal of this music. There was another young Irishman that sounded soooo much like this young man. It has to be sorcery. It’s like being rushed back to the past and catapulted into the future at the same time. I’d be a liar if I said this didn’t sound like early U2. I’d also be a liar if I didn’t say they sound even better than early U2.

@@Hutchyy really U2’s first three albums have the exuberant chiming sound with driving rhythms. It could be argued that Boy is the best reflection of that and it is U2’s first album. October, their second album is heavier and darker in some ways but there are still glimpses of the rather joyful sound on Boy. Even their third album, War, which has some downright angry moments on it has moments of the aforementioned youthful joyful exuberant sound. Also, Eli’s vocals are strikingly similar to Bono’s in many ways. Eli is awesome, he has his own sound but also sounds quite a bit like his dad which really blows me away.

@@LizCurran yeah they are incredible! They are one of the few newer bands that I truly enjoy
