If all the sons are well settled not one or one is widow,than how much should one inherit to those,if both are there now if Deceased Father will write inheritance upto some or more property to brother as he is already settled & he has got also from his Father as well and he has three little children unsettled, including one daughter as well than.Mr Ghamidi is giving a reason for that,without the valid reason like unsettlement,but it could be in the case when all are well settled,except one person, ok,if there would be more unsettled sons,than what would be the law ?. if father will give 8 rs among 10 that what would be the Justice in 2 rs being left for the children , ,so I can agree with the person ,on the basis,if children are high settled like Ambani but I am with 1/3,as it is clearly mentioned in Ahadiths at many places,stands on the Justice.Either the Father will,give 8 rs to any one and will leave 2 rs for the inheritors.so what would be shared.As Many other scholars also agree with this ruling of 1/3. Totally wrong and against the spirit and letter of Islam. I have a lot of respect for Ghamdi but he's mixing up living wealth with inheritance. Whilst you are alive you can spend as you wish when you die the laws of inheritance supercede. There's great wisdom in Allah's commands.

Will cannot exceed 1/3rd and will is not made for ppl who are already heirs, this Hadith rejector is misleading ppl. The ayah that he quotes about making will (wasiha) for family was the ayat that was applicable before the proper law of inheritance was given. It’s mansookh now

Given human nature, I would say "wasiyat" is a big loop hole in inheritance law OR What he is trying to teach is wrong. If one can give to xyz all his wealth in "wasiyat", then there is no purpose of Islamic inheritance law... Ghamidis teachings can be used to justify giving all wealth to a son and nothing to one's daughter. Edit: Essentially what his belief reduces down is to that, inheritance is according to the norms of time. If the norm is to give a son everything, Islam _can_ be fine with it. The reason why inheritance law exists in the first place is because, human nature is deeply biased in matters of finance and money. His beliefs on inheritance, in face of such bias in human nature, is a tautology. It's like saying you can't eat chocolate, as it isn't healthy, except if you want to eat it for recreation. Edit 2: After reflecting some more I realised that "wasiyat" is for exceptional circumstances e.g adopted child etc because the types and nature of exceptional circumstances are too varied to be exhaustively listed down. As for ones own progeny Allah has send down the inheritance laws. Both concepts are distinct and separate.

His reasoning dilutes the islamic law. Once this happens then there is no distinction between what is in Sharia and what one decides to do. Then leaves inheritance open to abuse. If all children agree that sons and daughters are to get equal share before the parents pass away then this would be another avenue which would remove the parents from going against what is stated in the Sharia.

There is a rigorously authenticated Hadith that " Allah has given every person who is deserving their fair share , and thus there is no wasiya whatsoever for an inheritor" I will post the Arabic text for those interested قال صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ ، فَلَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ ) رواه أبو داود (2870) والترمذي (2120) والنسائي (4641) وابن ماجه (2713) والحديث صححه الألباني في صحيح أبي داود .
