Thanks Justin Peters. Once again I am reminded of how much I love you. We shall certainly judge. But not the eternal judgment. But while we are here it is our duty not only within the church, but against all evil. We are not called to be cowards, to sweet talk sin. David says in the Psalms, "I hate your enemies Lord. I hate them with a hatred that knows no bounds." (Norwegian translation). Jesus says "I give you power to tread on scorpions, and all the power of the enemy. If you drink deadly poison, it shall not harm you... (This must not be taken literally 😂, but is easily seen spiritually. The world needs us more than ever as SALT. It means fighting all injustice, and sometimes trampling on the enemy. AND deal with false teachers. Take no part in the works of darkness, for they bear no fruit. Reveal them instead! (Ephesians 5:11)THANK YOU for your teaching.

I'm a Christian I grew up in a Catholic family, Philippines is a Catholic country but Born Again Christians is the silent majority now in the country. Another helpful video. RE: the Barong... I was a little guy in the 50s living in Hawaii (Dad was Navy) and many began wearing it in school. Loved my shirts then. I had a Filipino American classmate in CA in the 60s who wore one to school. I told him we wore them in Hawaii years before and showed him a photo of my dad & I wearing ours while there. Without saying anything, he brought me two as gifts for my dad and I a few days later. Gracious family. They tried teaching me Tagalog. Gracious and patient too.

If someone stole from them or beat their child..."don't judge or you will be judged"...YA, RIGHT!

Thank you Justin for your help this week in response to my own "church" having false teachers. It has been 18 months of diving into Scripture and watching John MacArthur, your "Clouds Without Water", Steve Lawson, Paul Washer, John Piper and all the archived Strange Fire, Cessation Conference, Reformation Conference most recently. My wife and I have brought these teachings to the attention of the elders and pastor without any success and actually with criticism and much resistance and patronizing. Finally, Justin sort of made it clear to me this week that if one of your Elders is trusting Myles Munroe over the Word of God, we need to run. By faith we are in search of a Grace Church over the next few weeks or months and trust He will lead us to truth. Keep following the Lord and God Bless.

I completely left the charismatic beliefs after listening to the Clouds without water on KZfaq and after listening to Paul Washer, Ray Comfort, Justin Peters and John MaArrthur speaking the Gospel I became terrified of going to hell. And on November 26th 2022 I couldn't take it anymore and asked God to save me. I believe I was saved because of what the Bible says; that those of us who go to Him, He will not cast us out. I didn't accept Christ into my heart; I said to Him that I know what the Bible says about following Him, that it might even cost my life and I asked Him to count me in. We can say that I begged Him to accept me into his family.

Glad to hear you are making an impact in the Philippines. I love the people there and spent the month of April there (Luzon) in support of a friend's ministry. It's known as a Christian nation but since two apostate churches, the Catholic Church and Iglesia ni Cristo, are dominant it is actually a vast mission field.

I’ve been to the Philippines twice. 🇵🇭 ❤. Yes, Filipinos are some of the humblest, kindest, giving people.

I do remember this verse "Judge not lest ye be judged" now changed to be a double negative which is not clear, nor precise nor inspired. Remember "spoileth a child" proverbs 13:24? Of course many do ... now kjv says "hateth" ... amazing days. Who will not shrink back regarding discussing the ongoing changes to all bibles? Very few even have eyes to see and ears to hear...fewer are bold as we ought to be ... groan...

Recently I commented on a celebrity for the way she was dressed which was practically naked. Well the way people Ce after me. You would think I had said something against their Mother. I asked them why are you defending this type of dress. The Bible says a woman should dress modestly. Most repeated the judge not scripture. And I asked them if you honestly believe in your heart and soul that the Lord is ok with this type of dress then there's pretty much nothing left to be said. I got no more comments

However, if you hear this quote so often from your brothers and sisters, is it possible that it's not they who don't understand this quote, but you have closed your heart to understanding it, and how it applies to yourself? A good quick response to the misuse of Matthew 7:1 is, "Why are you judging me?" 🙂 It's not a substitute for searching the Scriptures, but it can sometimes get someone to stop and think.

Thank you Mr. Peters, I was wondering when you would touch on this verse as many people seem to not read further passages to know that this verse refers to hypocritical judging. If I have evidence for a criminal then I should confront that criminal and that can be one of the only few ways to make that criminal repent.

(Matthew 7:1-5 )is talking about 2 believers. Of course,( 1st John 4:1-6) tells us to test the spirits to see if someone is a believer, But we are to judge the world as we read at the end of (Matthew 28). The judgment is God's truth imputed through us via the Holy Spirit and out our mouths to those who walk in darkness. We have judgments on all things righteous in Christ Jesus(1st Corinthians 2:15).

You're good at explaining things Justin. Thank you. This verse funny enough gets used a lot by non believers when they're defending their sins. Also what is bizarre is when I was in word of faith churches (spent 30 years in pentecostal & word of faith churches) they'd often ask "who are we to judge?" Then they'd use Matt 7 out of context just like the non believers do. So they fostered the culture of no-one would judge anyone on anything.

This is very helpful. Thank you. I just finished making a discernment video about an NAR pastor in our town who constantly misuses, misrepresents, and abuses God's Word every time he preaches, and I was trying to decide whether or not to post it to the public. (I never want to hurt peoples' feelings.) But, the congregation needs to be warned, and this pastor has been approached countless times by people over the years about this. Again, thank you, Justin!
