**ETA: Holy Moses, that took a LONG time to upload! Note to self: short videos. I made myself NOT watch any of their videos until mine was uploaded. That was TOUGH!
The hashtag to use when you share your projects is:
#initiallyyou2022.
I’ll come back and add their video links (did that!) once they’re all posted, but please, check their channels, watch their videos and be inspired to try new, fun, happy ways to use paper and scraps. Thank you for watching, Happy New Year and happy creating!

You, my friend, are such an incredible teacher! Such a great video and it wasn’t even long enough for me! I could’ve watched another hour. Thank you so much for organizing the collaboration! It was so fun! Even though my video was a complete disaster! 😂. What was I thinking…glitter - Gayle….well, I don’t use glitter, soooo…yikes! But I had fun and hope I showed folks what not to do. 🤣. I’m on to watch the other ladies and can’t wait to see what they came up with. I’m so glad you are still thinking to do the Ink & Think project for your kiddos. Yay!! Sending love and hugs and SO much appreciation. Love you, my friend! ❤️

I raised a squirrel once in a condo, lol! It was a challenge! His name was Sammy the squirrel! I found him under a tree with his eyes still closed, i watched him for a day, his mom never came back. I was waking up nursing him every 3 hours until he was old enough to eat nuts and veggies. Eventually I built a wooden home for him and put him outside in a public park near by. He was the smartest creature I ever had, I had many. He recognized me when I used to go to visit him, he will climb me like a tree! Back to crafting...I love watching you! You are such an artist and you inspire me a lot! Happy New Year!

@@susanswayngim1854 Ohhh, that's a sweet story Susan. Regardless how tiny the animal is, it always amazes me how smart they are to their size. It is the attachment that is so hard too. I cried my eyes out when I put Sammy outside but I knew it wouldn't be fair for him to stay in captivity!

I love how you Tooke the time to talk through your thought process. I learned a lot and got a lot of my questions answered. THANK YOU!! I have always wondered why a person should save their scraps, let alone use them once you have them. This will make you sad. I saved and saved my scraps, but then got so overwhelmed with the pile because I did not know how to use them. I threw them away in a moment of cleaning out my craft area. I now wish I had not done that. I am relatively new to junk journaling and trying to learn how to do things. This has been great for me. I found Tracy and watched her video for this little project that you spearheaded. Thank you for doing this. I have subscribed to your channel in the hopes of learning more. I love the way you teach.

Thank you Jenny and you know, it is absolutely okay to toss your scraps. You can (and will!) always make more. When things become overwhelming they lose the joy they were intended to provide. Now you'll have fun making new scraps 😊

Don't ever feel guilty about not completing projects that you share with us as you will get to them in your own time. I just appreciate any inspiration you share with us. I came here from Gayle Agostinelli. I watched her Scrappy Saturday from yesterday and mentioned you. Liked and Subscribed. LOL Squirrel! My sister and I will be talking or crafting and then suddenly one of us will say "Squirrel" because we changed topic of direction so quickly. Sorry, but it's nice to see someone else use that word. I love your clusters. I bought myself a bunch of fancy cardboard boxes with lids from the dollar store and then I made dividers in them to divide different types of items like your wooden trays. I need the lids as my room is small and put the boxes back on my shelves in the closet so they need to stack up. I also have numerous clear bins and label them. I enjoyed watching both of you do the clusters. I will watch a few videos myself, then sit at my table, combine what I saw and add my own twist also. ☺♥

I could watch you for hours - and I do. I probably have more of your saved videos than anyone. You inspired me to make a “sampler” (idea) journal. I actually made 2 (1 for me and one for sale). Both almost complete. Like you, I prefer to make my writing more discrete and hidden. I also like to make many of my writing notepads removable and refillable, so I designed a special diagonal tuck spot for “booklets”. I haven’t figured out how to KZfaq yet, but have a few photos on Instagram and Facebook. Thanks for a great inspirational start to 2022!! It’s going to be “magical”, my word for this new year!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this video. Very helpful to me. I started wanting to make ONE journal for my best friend, over a year ago. Although I've been a crafter all my life, when I first started, everything came out crappy. So I decided to make myself one 1st to practice. And I started buying supplies I saw on videos. Then I just dyed papers for 2 months. Just learning and experimenting. So I'd have papers ready. I already crochet, embroider, sew, beading, and bead embroidery for 60 years. So I spent time making embellishments in crochet, embroidery, & bead embroidery to use in making journals. Got great stash there. I'm disabled, and deal with lot of pain, so I have only been able to focus for few hours a day. Fifteen months later, I'm CLOSE to being done with my 1st journal. But I'm getting better. I like how you "mass make" one stage of an item, like clusters, and then move on to next step. That will help me. YAY! I've been making only ONE item just for that 1st journal, and it's too slow. But now I make a dozen at time. I watch several videos a day to learn what to do. That has been very helpful. I love how you mass make ONE STAGE at a time. And the "edge inking" card you use. I like to be organized so I don't get frustrated looking for supplies. Or forgetting what I have!! Being 65, my memory is pretty bad, so I don't even remember WHAT I have to use. So every few weeks, I just flip thru all my supplies to remind myself. Videos like THIS are super helpful. I'm new to your channel, but am loving it. *** QUESTION: I cannot get my thin die cuts to cut out completely. Sentiments too. They NEVER work, even if Big Shot is difficult to turn. Seems there is plenty of pressure. But they still never work. HAVE YOU HAD THAT CHALLENGE??? DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?? I really love your thin die cut pieces you glaze and add on top of your clusters. And I want to do that. But they always only cut out 90% of the way, so I end up tearing them when I remove them. I go back and forth 3 or 4 times in machine, or more, but still am NOT SUCCESSFUL. I bought good, brand name die cuts cuz I thought they would work better. So its NOT cuz I use CHEAP DIE CUTS!!! Its frustrating I cannot figure this out. Thx for this great video. Austin,TX USA

Always enjoy your videos. Great ideas. I love being very organized…sometimes to my detriment. I recently moved and started a new job. I haven’t been in my craft room except to get organized in the 2 months I have been in my new apartment. I feel the creative bug and since work will slow down now I should have more time. Thank you for this collaboration and all of your wonderful ideas and instruction. You are a great teacher. May you have a very Happy New Year in 2022.

I just found you and I’m am greatly inspired to have a go at making these little collage pieces for my journals. I’m pretty organized myself. It’s the only way my mind works. Keeping track of so many bits and pieces can get chaotic and interferes with creativity. I’ve just thrown them away , now I wish I had kept some of them. I’m liking the way you’re using a variety of trays for sorting bits & pieces for collage making. I’m looking forward to binge watching some of your other videos. 😅

Have a super creative year!!!! I do also squirrel, I have so many ideas.. I am The happy owner of a 220m2 craftroom. For every hobby I have, I have a seperate section (12 in total) with tables and cupboards. So at the moment I get a new idea, I walk to the table with that project and can immediately start. I do not have to get stuff out of the way. Everything is super organised and that is why I work on many projects at the same time. I know, this is a extraordinary situation and I am so gratefull I have this luxurious craftroom, but I sometimes think I should finish all the projects I am working on and start new ones, but than I get new ideas and I start new projects again. But I do not complain. ‼️ And now you gave me new ideas again. Thanks for that.

I love this video. (as usual) I love that you shared your pricess for setting your intention for the year. I laughed when you said your word for the year was squirrel. I don't know if you have ever seen Jamie Sams' Animal Medicine Cards but based on your videos I've watched, I'd say that squirrel is a lifetime word. Totem. Squirrel is is the gatherer, storing for future use. 😉 The other side of squirrel is the erratic side...dashing about this way and that from one thing to another as things catch their eye. I use the cards to set my intention for the year. This year I got 2, armadillo (boundaries) and dragoonfly (transformation). .. Just the combo I need to make more space for creativity in my life. Sorry for rambling on. Love your videos and your process. BTW Squirrel is one of my 7 lifetime totems. 🐿 😉
