The line between Atrocitus and Hal "The Green Lanterns are failures" "Yeah, with our saving lives and all..." "Who avenges the ones you cant save?" In the comics the Guardians are pretty widespread but spread thin. There are lots of times the green lanterns just either, dont make it in time to stop evil from occuring, or they just dont show in the first place. Thats where the Red Lanterns come in, punising those who commit...... atrocities.

I’m not sure about that one but I am sure that since both Red and Violet are at the far end of the emotional spectrum, they’re the ones that are usually unstable and are more likely to make you out of control

@@TheUltimateCancerCell yes. If you take a red ring off the user they die. And depending on how strong your rage is and if Atrocitus decides he can give you a proper state of mind. He did so with Bleeze, Skallox, and Zilius Zox and Rancor. The rest are mad Vengence hunters.

More interesting,that,in Red Lanterns Corps,Dex Starr is the most sadistic and cruel amongst all Red Lanterns,yet he sees himself as Atrocitus's pet,that feelings is mutual,that's why these two always stick together.With other Red Lanterns Dex Starr is,in finest case,neutral,but he also can became hostile,if someone will try to annoy him.In comic books,there was a story,when Hal Jordan,with his ring,have created a big energetic green boot to kick Dex Starr,and for that he got his own ass kicked hard by VERY,VERY angry Atrocitus.😈😈😈😈

In case you never learned about it, That cat was once a regular house cat before a burglar murdered his owner, threw him in a bag, and tossed him with a buddy off a bridge, taking bets on whether the cat would die on impact or from drowning. And this HOUSE CAT, got so fucking angry that a red ring came to him, and he murdered his killers, gaining vengeance for his dead master. Now I just wanna know what Atrocitus' reaction was when his newest member to the red corps was a cat. He was probably so insulted until Dexstarr slashed his cheek, and Atrocitus was probably like "THIS CAT DARES TO CUT ME???!!! THIS KITTY IS A GOOD KITTY!"

Atrocities is a reminder from sector 666 in the DC universe who lost his wife and child, then received his ring because of that. But imagine losing your wife and child right in front of your eyes. Rage and hatred so malignant that you would literally burn and decinigrate from simply his blood, atrocious has no feelings he's literally a walking demon, no soul just feeds of hatred, My favorite villain of all time

Hal: Yeah with our saving lives and all Atrocitus: Who avenges those you can't save? When you think about it, to a widow or orphan, Atrocitus is more of a hero than Hal or Batman. Only those who have lost loved ones can understand, would you rather have the justice league lock up the person who killed your family, or have a red lantern plop their corpse on your carpet?

@Joseph Bleifus Asking what Batman *wants* and what he'll *do* are two different things. He *wants* to butcher Joe and the Joker. For days on end, but he won't. He'll lock them up. He even admits so, during the Red Hood, although that was solely about the Joker, I can imagine he has similar feelings about Joe.

It's a shame how Atrocitus' dialogue is... limited to say the least. His role in the game and comic are very small, so there isn't much to work with. But anyone who knows Atrocitus knows he could've had more interesting dialogue. I love how Aquaman is the one to complain about all of the "rage" lines haha
