Mustard takes us through how to perform said resets, and shows any potential escapes you have. or more so, how to reduce the damage you take, as many of these setups will reset guaranteed.

Air escape in the corner is never a good option in the corner universally though. It depends if you're still in the dome or not. Most likely scenario is that you get hit and lose two bars in the process, but always worth trying just to see if it works.

"That sequence didn't cost me anything". Just a level two trait that takes hard neutral control to get against zoners. Ha Seen these setups but havn't taken the time to learn them. You made it easier. Thx.

Not really, a knock down or a freeze will allow you to build one level and as the trait increases Captain Cold's projectiles get faster and at level 2 he is able to keep up with most zoners. That and there is no penalty for stopping your charge mid-level so you can do piece by piece over the match whenever you get a free bit of time.

i dont think you were doing the meter right when you were having batman push block. He alrady had full meter while you were doing damage and after the push block he still gained almost a full bar. Everything else was good though thanks.

Ok, I might get a lot of stick for this, but does this work on big characters in the corner? I can do it against characters like Superman, Batman and even smaller ones like Black Canary, but I can't do it against characters like Atrocitus and Darkseid. Is it just me?

You can pb if you time it right. You will not get frozen again if the pb is timed correct.

Instead of push blocking the standing 3 can you backdash? Doesn't backdash invincible frames prevent the freeze?

The startup for the backdash is slowed down because you're in the Glacier Grenade aura

I think the timer for CC to freeze opponents while inside the snow globe should only happen when they're blocking, but the timer should be decreased to 2.5/3 seconds to freeze

Geoffery Collins, calling it now. You're right, NRS has a pretty good track record of taking tech away. Granted, they also have a good track record of accidentally (or not) putting stuff like this there in the first place.

DarkWingedKnight what? You need some kind of reward for charging tht damn trait! I think it needs to be buffed honestly, especially when u have characters like subzero who always has a trait ice clone ready tht gives him a full combo everytime! You have batman whos trait makes everything safe and he literally always has at least 1 mechanical bat ready but CC has to charge his trait!

They will definitely nerf his trait (50-100% combos lol) (maybe they'll swap level 2 and 3 specials, no one uses level 3 trait anyway, or lessen hit adwantage of low puddle). How is Sub's clone "gurantees you a combo everytime"?

NRS could fix this by making the double-freeze reset a hard knockdown. I highly doubt the double freeze reset was ever intended to be exploited in this manner. This is completely broken. Not simply because it's a ridiculous setup, but it exploits mechanics of the game that are not intended to be exploited

Nope. None of this can be done anymore. At least not ideally. That glacier grenade into frost field doesn't exist anymore. You can't link the 2 with that level of speed anymore and that's essentially what you need to pull off anything showed in this video, the speed. I was able to pull it off a couple of times in a match, but your opponent basically has to be a moron standing there not pressing anything in order for you to land these re-freezes. You're better off deleting this video mate👌.
