Zoning/spamming is what killed both Injustice games imo. People don't wanna watch you walking back and throwing shit all day

Unfortunately, zoning is a mandatory piece of this whole rock paper scissors system. However, Injustice 2 didn't have enough strong rushdown picks to counter this type of playstyle.

@@berkecgl2823 I think what really got under my skin about this sort of zoning spam is he was playing Batman, a character with some of the best rush down in the game. If he was playing Fate or Cold I'd be less annoyed but to choose such a fun up-close-and-personal character in such a bitchy manner was just obnoxious.

The real problem is that whiffing ranged attacked still gave meter. Batman earned like more than double than Scarecrow each game.

I love how people are bashing forever king for doing something that works. Trust me, I main bane and HATE zoners. BUT you can't blame the playerbase, especially high level tournament players, for picking a strat that worked. Like let's face the fact, if they're weren't zoners then grapplers and rushdown characters wouldn't be hype to see. Blame NRS for the premature death of injustice 1 and 2, not the players.

i mean your free to give up early in every competition its only benefits the winner, but yeah it kinda started when people skipped fatality and long winning cutscene in mk then its on slippery slope after that

This is why I hate Injustice 2, Batman is not a suppose to be a traditional Zonning character, but see how good his Zonning is. Now imagine characters that ARE Zonning traditional zoners or keep away characters , (Dead shot, Dr Fate, Starfire, Green Lantern, Darkseid, Superman Supergirl, firestorm etc) and you will realize how hellish it is just to get in on them. Both injustice games should be renamed Call of Duty. The Zonning and keep away killed this game
