For all new Dr. Fate mains, careful when doing the 3 Ankhs drop after the teleport against Superman, he can actually punish you with F23 before the red ankh explode even if you have 3 of them land in one place. You can pressure/punish Superman with this combo if you do the string really fast: As soon as you finish pressing the string for Teleport (b1,d3,u3) press the string to release the ankhs (df3) doesn´t matter if you have 1, 2 or 3 Red Ankhs, the faster you do it the closest to you the Red Ankhs will drop, in this way, neglecting a possible F23 from Superman, giving you the oppoortunity for a punish combo. On a personal note, I suggest you do this with 2 ankhs minumum in case Superman do a MbB3/MbF3 or stunts you with his F2.

Yup, I was there when Pig found the tech and was figuring out how to utilize it. Good stuff, but it's honestly a little harder to do in an actual match. I still wish he could combo after a grab though. It was a good tool and only one of few that he actually had. Anyways, I have indeed experimented with it myself a bunch and it is indeed very good tech.

IMO the reason all the anks land is the same place is because when you call the ankh drop doctor fate is actually not on the screen because he's teleporting so the ankhs act as if they are the un-traited version and all track the opponent

people like bidon and perfect legend make this game interesting

Very cool man. I really wanted play Doctor Fate before the game came out then I saw him and I'm like "ew zoning why did I think it wouldn't be zoning?" But this is cool. Looks like gives him some pretty strong close range options while trait is active.

I've been a player since day one know most of his tech including this one and the only con is that most ppl get hit by the overhead
