CounseledDeer I'm triggered that he doesn't use Beetles great aerial mobility tools, doesn't use optimal combos, and lets Honeybee get the meter advantage for no reason (also he drops a lot of his combos and fails to follow up on his resets) P.S he also doesn't use any of Beetles Frame advantage setups

Yeah, I agree. Everyone always just gets angry and say that they're zoning and spam moves, but they never look at the actual way the characters fight. Flash is a very, very quick offensive close up fighter. His attacks base around him being close to the opponent (excluding Sonic Bolt). Blue Beetle is also a offensive close up fighter, but against a Flash with skill like HoneyBee's it's not easy for a Blue Beetle to just go up to him and fight. He's gotta be precise about his moves.

giggitygoo6916 it's not the fact that the character is supposed to be used that way is the fact that he chose that character specifically to play against this character knowing if he just shoot the entire time it increases his chances of winning exponentially that is a pretty weak move in my eyes that's like fighting someone from a distance with an automatic handgun and all they have are their fists

fidel syrianoudis when you play a high level when you make it count when you get in and try not to let them out, another thing is you dont know thats what happened and neither do i but honeybee usually uploads these sets but he also uses these to help learn diverse matchups and DJT plays multiple characters so he can be a big help when it comes to helping with matchups

James Jones the only way to tell the difference between zoners and spammers is to close the distance a spammer will freak out and get wrecked a true zoner will know how to handle an up close player

Super move should only ever be used 1) if you've guaranteed that it will hit(part of a combo or your opponent opened themselves up by attacking) 2) if it will end the match. Otherwise, meter should be spent on better things.

mee091000 make blades do more damage with blade hits so if you want big boy damage you gotta go into blades. It's kinda pointless to go into blade right now it just gives a bit of range. And you lose a safe oin block shield charge and projectiles. Maybe his him a better overhead. His current overhead (B2) has zero range on it.

mee091000 he needs a reliable overhead and low. Increased damage on blades is priority because there's no reason to go into it, you lose your safer options like the shield. also, him gaining that extra range means nothing against characters who have that range on their standard normals like robin, aquaman, and scarecrow.

Spamming takes no skill. You just sit back and spam one move, and if the opponent gets in on you, you shit the bed and don't know wtf to do because all you know how to do is spam that one move. Zoning takes a lot of skill. Zoning is what DJT is doing here. He is carefully controlling space with well-timed sweeps, shields, and projectiles because he knows Blue Beetle can't compete with Flash up close. And notice that when Flash does manage to get in, DJT still knows combos. Idk if this comment was sarcastic or what but I hope that was helpful

+malcolm wallace From my experience with Blue Beetle he has the hardest time with mid ranged characters. Flash is not that mid ranged nor long. So his trait would make it easier for that range he needs to combo. Unless it's scarecrow... idk that's just me.

TOObadSO SAD it's trash. You lose a safe on block shield charge to end blocked strings. You lose projectiles. Vs flash you'll need both those tools. The range increase won't help in neutral vs a godlike flash like bee

Thats not entirely true. Each character has a certain a function that glues them to their respective play style. i dont think you should be giving advice to someone who is still learning a character most pros refuse to even touch.

Majin Hanchi Well he's kinda right. Blue Beetle's damage and options in close range are terrible, especially vs Flash, who destroys at close range. Sure Djt could've played close range BB just like I could use a tooth brush to dig a hole instead of a shovel: Can it work? Of course. Is it optimal? Not really.

Because the shield bash is alot more safe on block than the mandible strike is. Also with the rippers out you lose access to the energy blast which is a nice zoning tool.

I doubt you would hit all of every one of these combos consistently everytime. He is human ffs

Akarsh Verma I imagine he's using combos that gain distance rather than optimals as distance is likely way more important, and leaves him with less risk.

The combos may be optimal for positioning not for damage. It's like robins BF3 ender afterburner does more damage but maybe leave your opponent midscreen. If you want a corner carry you gotta use DB2 for less damage but better positioning
