Quick correction. Source Crystals can be earned through playing the game. I've seen people earn a bunch through the Multiverse mode.

I honestly think the grind for source crystals is more fun. It bumps the replay value of the game up so much and gives people an end goal. Like, oh I want this certain shader but don't wanna pay real money, I can just play multiverse matches and level up and get source crystals that way. Pretty neat if you ask me, I'm excited.

While I was playing in the single player multiverse, after completing a battle, Brother eye sent me a notification (similar to ones that pop up after completing events, however, it was in between matches). It said, "Multiverse Anomaly Detected". at that moment, in the same arena, Mr. Freeze showed up at level 20. it then made me fight him. I was playing with a low level character I was still learning to play, so I didn't beat him, but I suspect that beating him would have unlocked it for me. They essentially pulled a Super Smash Bros. thing and made you face off against the skin you want to unlock. Please get this info out there for those who are wondering.

This is news to me. So I am glad to hear about how to get it. Yes, that Microtransactions suck, but I understand why they do it and I'm prepared to take that hit for cosmetic stuff.

I think being that premier skins practically are shaders that they will be in the same category of unlock ability. I don't think it will be separate. So you'll probably get one after a match just like you would a shader but with a little lower chance since there aren't as many premier skins as there are total shaders.

If you buy bronze mother boxes it seems like you have a 10% chance to get a shader, so if you spend 100,000 on bronze you could get 2
