Can someone explain to me why a pro like BDON isnt just waiting for him to input down 1 shocker(negative 8), blocking it and then punishing it with down 1(7 frames) breath? Heck , even if he staggered the down 1, its STILL unsafe. Pros are great but sometimes just ignore the fundementals. Ridiculous.

Like you said, the punish window is literally 1 frame (offline btw)! so if he makes a mistake and his punish is off by 1/60 of a second (!!!), he will either be punished himself or will have to spend bar on the breath to stay safe. Not at all ridiculous but reasonable and very smart actually.

It’s online. Casuals press buttons after being -13 so you can bet your ass that shocker buttons will be getting abused by anyone, not only pros

Jeffrey Litt like I said, easy. Anything with a bar is over 400 dmg, easy set-ups, etc. Only thing he doesn’t have is 50/50s so he’s not stupid broken, but he’s still way too easy to play

Abraham H That can be said about numerous characters in this game. Damage doesn't even determine how difficult a character is. And if you think giving him decent mix-ups would make him broken, then you must be another casual.
